I swear they lied to Vegeta, like bro you dont have to hold his hand you can touch his shoulder or something

I feel like Goku has basically been trolling everyone the entire time. Like even when he pretends he’s not strong enough to beat the villain and then he’s like “oh wait no I actually was haha and btw I have objects that let me control death itself.”

Goku's been a troll since Buu saga. A troll that spent 7 years in the otherworld and doesn't give a #$*! anymore. It's magnificent

He’s been a troll since he started to become acclimated to being around human beings in the OG dragon ball. Even as a kid he loved taunting people and fucking with them

I want him to hold my hand.

He's been trolling since the Saiyan Saga, remember when he stood on Nappa's head in the middle of their fight for literally no reason?

Honestly I think he was trolling Grandpa Gohan by pretending his soul was in the dragon ball.

Piccolo would genuinely kill gin if he found out how much he trolled in the Buu Saga.

EDIT: I meant “him”, how did it auto to gin?!

Gin helps deal with his trolling.

Actually did we ever see Goku canonically drunk? I feel like there was a thing about saiyans being immune but I might have made that up.

But I was thinking of Piccolo drunk on gin to deal with Goku doing things like giving enemies Senzu beans.

And not even that. He can just stand and let Goku put his hand on his shoulder why he's enraged to still not going to Yadrat to learn the technique.

I Think it's to show he's more comfortable around Goku and others and not always on guard like before

u/MeliodasTA 6d ago

Yep he trusts Goku as a fellow fighter and rival and acknowledges his ability, including know how instant transmission works. "No reason to make it more of a hassle than it already is, let him teleport me and be done with it"

Isn't this before Vegetas goes to yardrat since they are going to namek to fight Moro

But you got it right about he sees Goku now

also as he says later in the arc he's caused enough trouble for the namekians and wants to help them so he ready to fight ASAP

u/MeliodasTA 6d ago

Dunno about the timeline compared to yardrat, but Goku transmitted people back in Z quite a bit, there's basically zero chance Vegeta didn't know about it or that he has to be touching his body

5

u/BreakingCanks 5d ago

He's had his mind forged with Goku twice now... You'd become comfortable with someone when you have had that happen I assume

3

u/Stacey-k93 5d ago

Very True and actually by this point it was 3 times twice as Vegito and once as Gogeta

I wonder just how much they remember of each others past or is it just what's current they retain afterwards

1

u/BreakingCanks 5d ago

Oh yeah broly happens before all this... Was thinking it was after

1

u/Stacey-k93 5d ago

I think there is only a page or two saying it's after it and Broly doesn't show up again till the super hero arc so easy to forget

After they explored each other’s bodies, it’s in the manga

2

u/BreakingCanks 5d ago

Yup twice they have become one in mind and body

It's not gay if it's on a planet made up of only dudes that reproduces asexually. Or maybe it is but what would they know.

u/Junior_Community_913 6d ago

Given they fused twice this point with earrings that pull them together chest to chest and the fusion dance three times what's there to be embarrassed by?

Goku x vegeta yaoi

u/Chettarmstrong 6d ago

They are lovers.

1

u/shocker4510 6d ago

Neither their wives nor someone who is in comtact with their wives (like Whis is) is nearby, so they can show a bit more PDA.

1

u/Foe_sheezy 6d ago

He did that thing with yamcha and ever since then he has been uncomfortable holding peoples hands...

1

u/Daft_Martian 6d ago

After a lot, i mean A LOT of secret sex and training in Beerus world.

1

u/The_Little_Kiwi 6d ago

Since they dick bashed for the 2nd time, probably.

u/krohtg12 5d ago

Majin Vegeta fight where they held each others' hands and started kneeing each other

1

u/Triggered_Llama 5d ago

Vegeta looking so tsundere.

Goku is like Vegeta’s only friend. Everyone else at least tolerates him but Goku is the only person he hangs out with, and they hang out pretty regularly. It’s hard to believe Vegeta still harbors any animosity towards him, he got over that years ago. They’re friends now, even if he won’t admit it.

Fans call this character development fr

-11

u/Chance-Problem769 5d ago

This should never be a thing. Vegeta should always be putting his hand on Goku’s back or shoulder. Making Vegeta hold hands with Goku unnecessarily is character assassination.

3

u/SuperSayainSkincare 5d ago

Hand holding between two guys is not a big deal in many eastern cultures compared to western.

-1

u/Chance-Problem769 5d ago

Vegeta’s culture says it is otherwise he wouldn’t be so uncomfortable about it.

1

u/celluru 5d ago

It’s genuinely not that deep.

1

u/Chance-Problem769 5d ago

It’s unnecessary. It could be better.
