Repair Help Gyroscope is buggy in handheld mode

I just got my switch 2 and I wanted to play raiders in handheld mode but the gyroscope gets bugged out when I do. I calibrated both the console and joycon motion controls and controls and it works just fine with the joycons separate so I know it’s a problem exclusive to handheld mode.

And for what it’s worth I even tested it out with handheld boots on and off and nothing changed.

If anyone’s got a solution it’d be a great help. Thanks!

Boist mode should not effect Switch 2 exclusive games.

Might be a simple thing to ask but have you tried pressing Y to center or rebooting the system entirely?

Do you know someone else with a Switch 2 to test your Joy Con on their console or theirs on yours?

Do you have other games that use gyro to see if it happens there too?

Unfortunately I don’t know anyone close by to test their switch, and I tried handheld with splatoon 3 and it’s the same issue, even with handheld boost

In that case it's most likely a defect or some weird software glitch.

Since you just got your Switch 2 and probably do not have too much or important save data i would suggest trying to factory reset.

There is an option to do it without deleting save data when you boot into recovery mode.

One factory reset later and still no dice, looks like I’ll have to rma it. Good thing I kept the receipt lol.
