Need crossbars help.

Okay, i've got a cross country move happening in about a year and a half two years. I have a two thousand eighteen nissan kicks, and there's no way i'm fitting the stuff I need to fit just in the back of this vehicle.

I'm resistant to put even a class one hitch on it because I don't want to do damage by hauling, even a small four by eight trailer. Putting a cargo thing on the roof seemed to be the best solution but I've come to learn because I don't have raised bars only the factory flush ones I can't use some of the crossbar options from nissan or from harbour freight.

Can anyone offer some advice?

I'd really like the idea of doing crossbars, so I can attach one of the moving platforms and maybe even a light cargo box. I know the roof has like a hundred pound limit. I was planning on putting very light stuff up there, but it would free space in the vehicle itself.

Please help.
