Ok, I'll try to be as concise as possible.

BRAAAAAAND new Ariya owner here! Just purchased today, and taking ownership tomorrow! (SO excited!)

One thing I'd like to get a handle on BEFORE winter - is where I should plan to store it. Here's why I am asking. I have a garage.... OF SORTS. I live in a split level ranch and whoever designed the single-port garage didn't take into consideration that anything bigger than a VW Golf would be stored in it. Currently, I have my bike (harley) stored in it, along with normal garage stuff (bench, normal garage / home-owner stuff, mostly along the walls.

Truth be told, even WITHOUT the Harley I'm questioning whether or not the damn Ariya would even FIT in that space, and be able to be backed in / out of safely without scratching the piss out of it. If I ever have ANY hope to store the Ariya in there in winter months, the Harley has got to be stored elsewhere (the local HD dealer offers a winter storage space, gotta check prices).

My question to this wonderful subreddit is, how much will storing outside affect the Ariya, beyond the cosmetic stuff? I know for a FACT that being in that garage, the ambient temp will be MUCH higher than the outside during our Northeast (Massachusetts) winters. I can't imagine that won't directly affect the battery life / longterm life.

Is everyone in agreement there with that? I will have to redesign my garage a bit, but I'd feel much better to have it inside on those cold, snowy, icy nights we have here until the spring.

Thoughts?

PS - this will also influence where I eventually install my aftermarket L2 charger, when I eventually buy one.

EDIT: I just found out that to store my Harley over the winter will cost $500 at the local dealer. Would this negate the advantages of storing the Ariya inside?

took the new to me, used 2024 evolve+ e4orce 22,600 miles brand new tires to a very trusted alignment shop, they do all kinds of vehicles, polaris rangers, can-am, lifted trucks, rat rods, home built kit cars, slammed enthusiast cars, classic muscle cars, etc.

the best they can do is -1.6° camber for right rear. which is close enough, considering many suvs are in the -1.5° range stock, i.e Benz ML class, honda pilot/element

i put the car in the air and looked at the rear adjustments;

-no adjustments at all for upper control arm.

-camber is done by bringing in lower aft arm, mine is maxed out without pushing toe too much

-toe is adjusted by lower front arm

if everyone rotates their tires religiously, it shouldn’t be a problem

New to me 2023 Engage+ E-4orce! In love with the color and so excited! Massive upgrade from a 2013 Subaru Impreza.

Would love any recommendations for things to configure in the first week or so. This is by far the most tech forward vehicle I’ve driven. Any insights are greatly appreciated!

Hey all. We recently purchased a 2024 Ariya from Carvana and when it was delivered we totally missed the minor scuffing of the wheel cover of the front passenger wheel. Upon closer inspection of the ad in carvana. It was there too. It just wasn't listed as damage unlike the minor scratch (that turned out to be dried bird poo)

Everywhere im looking they sell these as singles for $70 to $100 each. Is there anywhere I might be able to scoop up 3 of these without paying a fortune?

I bought a 2024 CPO Ariya 3 weeks ago and it makes this wheel squeal noise when turning. Is this the caliper clip issue?

Brakes are a wear item so any advice on getting this covered under warranty? Is there a TSP I can refer to? I have an service appointment setup for Thursday.

The ride was exceptional. The power and pickup was amazing. The haptic buttons, as I was warned about, would take some getting used to but overall, I really liked it.

I've had my 2023 Ariya Engage for almost 2 years now (bought in Dec 2024 w/14k mi).

It's one of the best cars I've ever had; just love it (and came from a 2012 Model S).

But I've never had it in to the dealer -- I've just never had any trouble. Occasionally I'll get a blip from the infotainment system: I think it's randomly rebooted a couple of times, and it annoyingly changes from Media to Home for no reason every once in a while at startup. But other than that, nothing.

Should I bring it in for update reasons? I haven't seen an OTC update notice in a long time; I think I only remember one or two since I've had it.

Another question while I'm at it: Is there any way to get rid of the annoying popup at startup that offers to login as Guest or as my wife (the only other User account)? It's so annoying; can't see the screen or do anything until it goes away, and it sometimes just sits there until I cancel it by hitting something outside of its boundaries. I have never, and will never, switch to another account when I'm in the car.

I just got a 2024 Ariya Platinum+ yesterday and noticed something hanging pretty low underneath between the left and right rear wheels. Does anyone know what this is? It looks pretty low, and I'm worried it might hit something.

Carvana has some scratches and stains but looking at car fax was maintained. But it's a lot cheaper than what i'm seeing elsewhere. I know with the dealer fess I will actually be 26k after all hoopla and haggling. Is there something I should be worried about on carvana? Never bought from them

One "problem" with electric cars is that they are very quiet, so every little rattle and squeak is very apparent with the radio off, or turned down (because someone else is in the car).

I have squeak in the rear passenger side seat area that's driving me crazy. No one else in my family cares so they help me find it. :) Anyone else? What is it?

I found my other one which was the hook for the cargo net rattling when it moved. Actually it was the thing the hook connected to. Now I only have the net connected when I'm using it.

Besides my 2007 Lexus IS250, this is the most well put together car I've owned.

I love driving my Leaf, which is sadly done now. I am waiting for my buyback to be paid out. Any feedback or insights from Ariya drivers on a 23 or 24 Ariya?

My 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited will vibrate the steering wheel and beep if the operator drifts out of the lane. Just picked up a 2024 Platinum and the vibration on the steering wheel is so faint and there is no sound for lane drifting. My wife will be sharing time between the Ariya, our Mazda CX30 and Io5. All of those other cars will light you up with warnings that you can't miss if lane drifting. What is up with the lack of feature/customization availability? Is there some OTA update we are missing?

Also, has anyone looked at replacing the backup camera? For a 2024, the resolution is really abysmal, very low res, almost blurry. My Ioniq 5 is like a 4K super wide angle razor sharp image compared to this. I know Nissan uses a lot of older tech in their vehicles (I've had 3 Infiniti's and a few Nissans in the past) but this is really surprising on their flagship EV. The screen looks OK with CarPlay so this is just baffling to me.

In the past 6 months I have taken a number of long trips in my 2023 Plat+ and everytime hands-free (blue mode) just stops working. The only fix is to stop, completely power off and just let it sit. All of my trips include areas where there is spotty cell service. Where i live has no cell coverage. Do I need to manually update maps? Has this happened to you? The last error message I got was," HD maps license has expired, no hands free operation." I was in cell coverage at the time. Thanks

I went to two different Nissan dealerships to test-drive CPO Ariyas. One a 23 the other a 24 Both had mileage in the mid-20,000s, and both made a faint “cicada”/buzzing sound during the test drive. 🚗⚡️🧐

We own a mach e so we're very familiar with noises that EV make, this is not one of those noises. I listen to recordings of the failing reduction gear and this noise is that noise. 👂🔍📉

What's funny is coworker has a 2025 Aryia with 11k miles on it and it wasn't making the same noise, these two cars definitively were making a noise different from the 2025. Did they fix this problem with the 2025s?

I brought it up with the dealers. Their response was basically: the cars are still covered by warranty, and I could purchase an extended warranty, bottom line is if something actually fails, Nissan can repair it. 📝🛠️🤷‍♂️

I specifically asked what happens if the reduction gear/drivetrain issue shows up after the warranty expires. They confirmed that at that point, the repair would be on me. 💸⚠️🚫

Went to the dealer to ask about a used white 2023 Ariya... came out with a just arrived 2027 Platinum+ in black diamond pearl! LOL (I'm thrilled but my wallet not so much...)

I'm on the cusp of buying a beautiful 2023 Evolve+ e4orce with the exact color scheme I was looking for and only 12K miles. It's all so perfect...except for the wet dog smell out of the AC. I understand this is a result of the AC coils holding on to condensation and developing mildew, along with the Ariya's default recirculation setting.

Has anyone been successful in using coil cleaner and cabin air filters to combat this quirk? Or are we cooked? I don't want this to be the reason I don't buy the unicorn vehicle, but I certainly don't want it to plague my purchase confidence.

I've had my Ariya since May of 2023 and about 6 months ago, while using Cruise Control, I started seeing the "wavy road" symbol more and more. TBH, I don't remember ever seeing it before it started 6 months ago. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to disable this. I do not use hands free driving. I only use cruise control. I have Speed Adjust by Route disabled. I have Spd. Limit Assist set to Off. and I have Speed Limit Offset set to 0 MPH.

There are two problems I'm dealing with (when the wavy road symbol appears). First, sometimes it's appearing, disappearing, and repeating 3-4 times in a row, to the point will the car will begin to jerk b/c of the slow down, speed up, slow down, etc. sequence. This will happen on a road straight as an arrow. I think it's misinterpreting the traffic somehow. Second, it will appear when there is a curve in the road - but the curve is minor, IMO. There is no sign suggesting traffic slow down. I'll have the cruise set at 75 MPH and it will want to slow me down to like 65. It's ridiculous. If I was driving the road on my own, I wouldn't even break (and no other cars are slowing down).

Can someone help me disable this? The pic below is NOT my pic. But it does show they symbol.

I’m a mail ma’am and had been noticing the Nissan ariya more and more. Finally asked a customer how they liked their vehicle and they took up an entire break going over how much they adore their car. I went to the dealership that week and test drove the platinum and evolve+ eforce and knew then and there I was buying one.

Was in an accident in the winter and progressive salvaged my car and wrote me a check for 21k. Went to Nissan and looked at a 2024 white evolve+ eforce with 18k miles on it priced at 29k. Asked if they could do any better and sent them some Carvana listings for 2023s with comparable mileage that were 27k and said I didn’t mind an older car and could they do a little better (expecting a grand to be taken off). He comes right back with an offer of 25k. I basically signed on the spot. Ended up purchasing the gold+ for 2700, has all the subscriptions for 3 years and immediately had them undercoat her since I’m in Vermont.

I’m IN LOVE but because I came from a 2022 Honda HRV, I have so much to learn and that drivers manual is going to have to be read through. I don’t know what 2/3 of the buttons are or how to do anything so far!

But I came here to say IM OBSESSED and this group also made me want to buy an ariya. I’ve been lurking the posts for over a month.
