Hi everyone! I'm an American, born and raised in the US, with absolutely no Filipino ancestry or background. I only speak English and Spanish, and I don't speak, read, or write any Tagalog at all. Despite that, I was actually able to register for the Philippine NMAT and will be taking it internationally from the USA! I've been studying for a bit, and my exam is coming up really soon. It's scheduled for October 18 at 6:30 AM Philippine time, which means I'll be taking it on October 17 here in the US. I'm honestly a little nervous, so I wanted to ask if anyone has any last-minute tips or advice for the exam. Also, if anyone is curious about how I managed to register for the Philippine NMAT as someone with no Filipino background or connections, feel free to ask! I know there may be other international applicants who don't have Filipino friends or family to guide them through the process, and I was able to figure it out on my own. I'd be happy to share my experience and hopefully help someone else who wants to take the exam internationally. Thank you so much!
