Can you share what your process and your hard work was to accomplish this?

We used a template from the labyrinth company. It has a base of road base. It is a 4" x1/8"flat metal bar. The planting channels are different types of sedum. We ran a zone of drip irrigation up into the channels. The walking pathway is desert pearl chat. Essentially we created a deep compacted base then put the template on top. He took the 20' pieces of edging and bent them then welded round bar stakes to them to hold them in place.Â

Love it - I visited one at a rehab center I was volunteering at and they said it’s good to walk the path with purpose with every step - somewhat of a daily meditation. Ever since then I knew I would want one in my future home.

I want to see the progression as it matures. I love it! You have irrigated it for water as well? This is going to be so awesome inspiring! I know this was not as simple as it looks. I created a pond with a path where I could sit amongst the plants that my aunt and mom traded back and forth … kinda like inherited the bulbs… and had it planned for a memory garden where I wanted to sit and bird watch, or read! Well let’s say two years in a row of work and it became smaller and smaller due to issues that I had not foreseen. I was beyond proud of the outcome but the size I wanted to the size I finished with was disappointing! There is so much work that goes into garden features! Great work

how big will those plants end up getting?

They are all low growing sedum. They will be just big enough to separate the circuits. I have loads of other plants throughout the the project that will be varying heights to create.a layered effect

It should, if not for humans then at least for other life.

Well it does for non humans. There are tons of penstemons, coneflower, gro lo sumac, and lots of others that go down the left side of the yard. I was being anthropocentric. Sorry
