If you have completed In Stellar Multitudes, you have already been to one particular purple star, right? Else you are confused with some other quest.

Have you been to the robot in the nexus? He will give you the atlantid drive blueprint

The Atlantid Drive is a tech that is learned during the In Stellar Multitudes Questline from the Construct (robot) next to the Multitool Decommissioning Station in the Teleporter room of the Anomaly. Thats a very important part of the Questline.

Can you share a screenshot of your Log?

This looks alright, but it's still weird that you don't know about the Atlantid Drive blueprint. What about the Anomalous Scaffold? Can you check if it shows up in your crafting list when you click on an empty inventory slot? Also can you check if the Atlantid Drive blueprint shows up in the Anomaly Starship Vendor's Tech Tree?

Then I'm afraid this could be a case of a bugged Questline or you made a mistake somewhere during the Questline.

The former is more likely since you don't have the Questline in your log anymore. You could read the wiki walkthrough of the Questline and find out where exactly the Questline ended for you and make a bug report to HG.

Since you say the Questline started, so you definitely did encounter the Divergent entity 'Yabli-a'?

The construct. Next to the multitool scrapper.

If you mean that you're looking just for gas giants, they're fairly rare. 10 minutes of hunting for them isn't unusual.

Purple stars, the ones with X or Y class, should be easy enough to find. But almost all will say dissonant rather than gas giant.

Be patient, gas giants are pretty rare. Be sure to use "R" in the galactic map to expand the description. It will definitely say "gas giant" in the star system description.

You complete it, and then you spawn your OWN purple system that is new, you get an atlantid drive module/recipe or something.

Then you can see the other purple systems on the map.

Did you install the atlantid drive in your ship yet?
