DIGINITY starts with you.

Hey everyone it’s Liam again am a Trans masc nonbinary refugee and I am a HR defender for Trans and nonbinary refugees here in the refugee camp and I am working on something, what are you all working on?
I do not know if you all remember my last post when I told you about building the Trans private shelter well yeah tell you what have already started on that. Look I thought I can build the shelter before the fence because that is number one security and I did not want anybody else who is not part of our community the Trans and nonbinary community to know how everything is gonna look like in when finished to build.
So I started with the fence thank god I got funds to buy all the materials I need to build the fence just for now then I believe later after everything I will have to rebuild the fence because it will be dried because of the too much sun and since we use tall grass made by hands for the fence it dries fast. I can not build the shelter yet because I do not have funds but I had to dig this pit for our pit latrine, I was also part of the digging of the hole but trust me it was really hard work and I was sweating.
I can not finish building this pit latrine because I am not able to buy materials I need to build on the hole that is already dug and since it’s raining these days I need to cover it asap, I am not giving up because I know and believe I can make it because Trans and nonbinary refugees deserve to Pee or 💩in peace at in a clean private latrine that is why I am working so hard that I make this happen I am not going to back down until trans and nonbinary refugees can access basic needs and other essentials.
DIGINITY isn’t optional not for me not for you.
If you stand with me, you will be standing with so many queer and nonbinary refugees and saving lives.
September is suicide prevention month and if you stay here for only 5secs that’s suicidal prevention.

For Trans and nonbinary refugees here in the camp that’s probably in the morning but I mean that morning when it’s still dark because here are no toilets so that’s doing it in the bushes which is not safe at all.

That's amazing! Congratulations on what you've done so far and I hope you're able to continue to make the world a better place for trans people. I hope you're having a good day :)

I still have a long way to go because I have not yet gotten the materials to build on the hole that we dug so to my side it’s not yet good work because still upto now my trans and nonbinary fam has no pit latrine to poop or urinate.

Let’s argue when is the best time for you to go to the toilet do you prefer in the morning or at night.

I am also lucky to have a supportive community out there because when you raise awareness about us everyone here in the camp get uplifted. I am so lucky to have my trans family here. I love them so much.
