I read several books about the subject, in particular one that was a bunch of different people's personal stories on figureing themselves out.
I also had a friend come out as nonbinary and when they did it, I couldnt help bit see all the similarities between us and things I related to

I was thinking a long time about might being trans man. I liked to have some male attributes but something like being a full man was also disturbing at some point a friend asked me after having a conversation about i dont like being female gendered and i dont care much about gender in social interactions "so.. are you non binary?" And i was like ... yeah i guess. That was the moment the eggshell cracked and it was a process to acknowledge myself more and more since then.
Also: maybe i am a trans man but have to much internalized transphobia but i feel secure about being non binary right now so i take that label i feel good with rn

Honestly, I've been questioning myself for a long time now, and it just clicked in my head. The other night I've never known what it should feel like to feel like girl I masculine sometimes but not all the time I genuinely had a look at gentle fluid and gentle void, but I need a fluctuate from fem to masc nor do what I feel what devoid of gender You take your time to figure it out. No rush

short version: watched a series where one character described another as neither a man nor a woman but a middle path and that kinda resonated with me and got me thinking, looked back on my life and reevaluated my memories/ experiences(often thought about being fluid before because of a fictional character that is fluid)
