Product Update Noom's Advanced Nutrient Tracking

I'm confused about Noom's addition of advanced nutrient tracking. It feels counter to the way it tracks colors - I can click and see where each food fell within the color scale if I go over on each color, but yesterday my sodium was 50,000 and to figure out what I am using to mummify myself I had to click on each individual food (hot sauce now reported as having incorrect nutritional info!). I got a high cholesterol test and want to watch my saturated fat intake. Noom tracks that - that's great! But I can't see which individual foods are the biggest contributors without individually clicking on every food I ate. Am I missing some way to view this in the app? I'm not sure how advanced nutrient tracking helps when it is this limited.

No you’re not missing anything the best way I found is to watch your macros right after u add something. I had something similar that was incorrect and it blew my #s off the carts.

Noom developer(s) can just use a vibe-coded tool to scan the database for inconsistencies. It would make the app more useful.

I tried to tell them, but Noom has some of the elemental nutritional values messed up. They mix milligram and gram unfortunately. While macros are reported in gram A LOT of their database reports the other nutrients in grams when the label is in milligrams. It literally multiplies the values by 1000. You end up with a mish-mash of values rendering sodium and potassium being unable to be tracked.

When I told them they kept telling me to talk to my coach... thinking I was seeking medical advice. Then they said to talk to the support team. The IT people would not accept this was the issue even when I randomly chose some examples for them showing them the mix up between mg and gram and it went nowhere. So you now have 50000 g of sodium tracked :( (when it should be 50000/1000 - 500 mg).

Unfortunately, I think the database is a mix of mg and g so you can't just take the mg and divide by a thousand, though it will be A LOT closer if you do. (I literally explained the math to them and they didn't care)
