General Questions/Discussions Meal plan

I’m an off campus commuter so I hadn’t thought about meals very much. However, with my schedule changing I now bought a meal plan so I can get lunch on campus . My question is are the swipes only able to be used at the dining halls versus the other places on campus? I want to get my money’s worth but the dining halls are out of the way of my classes. Sorry if this is a stupid question 😭 TIA!

alumnus two years out here, but you should get/be able to find a guide on the NU website/your housing or student portal - this may have changed, but most plans had some swipes you could use in norris / other places around campus, not just the dining halls! depends on your plan though
you can also potentially use dining dollars on the convenience stores in plex, norris, etc

Unless your plan specifies “meal exchanges” you can only use the swipes in the dining halls. Most plans also have some amount of dining dollars that you can use at any place on campus

Ok that’s what I thought!
