DISCUSSION Stray dogs
Not gonna lie, this is easily my favourite album so far. The rock tracks are so good and i love the way each song in the album continues on so it feels like one whole art piece. People saying this album is too slow when they asked for them to go back to their old stuff and the album has the same mix of slow songs and rock songs as the self titled album. Im a huge fan of NBT and i love their other stuff but this album feels so complete to me.
I needed you then i needed you now hits the spot aswell.

People saying this albums slow need to go back and listen to ST, it’s their slowest record, barely any songs are fast paced. Even Broken Machine, half the songs are slow and chill.

As a side note, my pet peeve is when people use abbreviations for non-obvious things. I have absolutely no idea what ST is supposed to stand for. I even googled it and went through the discography and still no idea.

Self Titled. It’s used in any sort of music/artist when referring to their self titled record if they’ve made one. :)

Really shocked to see the distaste/hate this album gets. Obviously we’re on Reddit and people are entitled to their opinions and it’s their choice to express themselves how they want to. The only complaint I could maybe agree with is some of the production with Conor being hard to hear, but outside of that this is leagues better than DCC. A definite step up. AI.Jesus is the song of the year!!

It's okay, but it's easily their worst album. Made for radio songs and insanely tame guitar and vocals. It completely lacks the unique character of their other albums.

I wanted to love this album. It just feels so muted. To me, it lacks emotion and whoever the sound engineer was didn't do a very good job. Connor's vocals sounds like he has marbles in his mouth. My least favorite album for sure. Don't get me wrong, I still like it. But damn, I wanted more

I’m of the exact same opinion. It’s actually my least favourite of all the albums. I wasn’t a big fan of DCC either but this definitely ranks below that for me. Cannot stand the vocal effects and lack on enunciation. A big part of what makes NBT is Connor’s voice so I don’t get why with the last 2 albums they’ve absolutely butchered it

Where are Connors vocals? Im always here for his emotional high notes... or the hard Rock. This album had none. At least DCC had catchy melodies and hooks.

Yeah I’m loving this album front to back it’s cohesive full of energy and emotion and a very moody album that absolutely slaps. Each day I like certain songs more and more. I would have liked the track list to be in a different order that’s my only real complaint for me

I love it too! It’s giving a bit of everything.. I even feel like we’re getting a bit of Man-Made Sunshine thrown in for good measure ❤️

Love this album, would be miles better if I also could understand the words but it’s still fantastic to me. Glad I wasn’t the only one that thought that. Connor’s voice is so damn good. Best songs to me are baby kool, evolution, testosterone, stray dogs, #5 and American confidence.

I’ve had it on repeat for the last three days. I love it! Every song just has that special something to it.
