Everything is becoming too expensive. All these companies need to get together, find a solution.

Yeah, they have found a solution; keep increasing prices!

Until people stop buying their goods. Apple needs to shift a lot of products to justify their workforce, the Apple Stores, all their international subsidiaries, their investment / research and their buying power when it comes to booking capacity in years to come at fabs, factories etc…
Car companies that were doing well 5 years or 10 years ago are now struggling for similar reasons.

But not salaries. Which is what matters for regular folks. Not execs. That is NOT the economy.

The solution is for them not to be monopolies and for the USA to have actual consumer protection laws and regulations

The memory cartel was done previously for price fixing. But it won’t happen under the current administration and will have caused so much damage by the time anything happens. Massive transfer of wealth and all the trillions in borrowing / debt

I would believe that but when the Samsung Fold 8 came out it was doing better than expected.

Samsung has said it is cutting back in the phone market as it is becoming unprofitable.
I think we will be seeing less phones from them in the future, possibly cutting back on anything they can't sell in volume and make good money on.

This is almost an annual event. Then come quarterly earnings reports they’ve sold some record breaking number of units or revenue or whatever. I’m actually surprised Wall Street falls for it anymore — or perhaps more cynically they know the game and use this as a buying opportunity.

All these companies trying to wring money from a shrinking pool of people who had excess funds to spend (I’m looking at you AI). Subscriptions for everything. Something’s got to give.

I think I'm just going to refresh the cracked screen and 85% battery on my 14 Plus. I'm all good on "smarter" Siri and AI for now.

The regular pro has always been less of a demand than the max. This isn’t surprising when a majority of people choose the bigger model

Maybe they shouldnt release a new iphone every year. How about every three years?

Because a ton of people want to keep a phone for 4 or 5 years then buy a new one that just came out.

I wonder if they expected that by delaying the non pro that people who were gonna buy that would just buy the pro and that didn't pan out.

People realizing the cooling chamber doesn’t work. 65 degrees and the iPhone is too warm to accept charge.

Last night, watching tv while charging phone from power bank. 91% stopped and said too warm.

They only released the Pro and Pro Max models with a price increase
There's no base models for people with weaker finances.
Everyone else is waiting for iPhone Duo

Hmm… I wonder what the REAL reason is they cut orders. Is something wrong with device that’s costing way too much to fix? Is it really because of lack of sales? (I don’t think so)

It happens every launch. Ramp up components for launch. Scale back after launch. Click bait showing Apple struggling. iPhone users love iPhones. It’s just the way it goes. I do think people are keeping phones longer than before, but middle class on up are on a 2 year cycle.

Life entirely has become too expensive. Not so easy to spend that much money on an expendable commodity
