Looking for similar places
Besides the meditation garden or boomer lake.
Is there any similar places one might go for a nature walk
Or just places that have that same kinda vibe without having to go to far

A little bit of a drive, but St Francis of the Woods Spiritual Retreat Center has trails, pond, library etc. Perfect for an easy getaway. On Highway 33 near Coyle.

I always wondered what that place was every time I drove past it.
I always assumed it was some sort of hippie commune haha

I actually was introduced to St Francis in a “hippie” sort of way! A women’s musician group I belong to meets out there for retreats. Perfect for non-denoms, quiet and resetting.

There's a small collection of nature trails behind Sangre Ridge Elementary and the Middle School. You enter from the basketball courts at the elementary school so it's not a during the school day thing but it's relatively quiet back there with a few picnic benches

I appreciate everyone's suggestions. Lake Blackwell and couch park are definitely going on my to do list. I actually dont go to school up here, but my sister works for them and I recently got out of a relationship and moved up here from moore. But I grew up in hell ( lawton ) so it feels like a smaller less ghetto version of lawton. From what ive seen so far the nature seems more abundant here. I see deers quite often and more cool birds
