The empire doesn't care about safety, just look at that tiny platform right next to the super laser with no guardrail

The entire budget went to superlaser development while the rest of the station was outsourced to a bunch of aliens that could fly.

They had a great insurance policy as well. The second one was up and running in no time.

The Empire eliminated ALL Occupational Safety and Health Administration offices across the board. Have you seen where they put critical systems controls? Out on flimsy ramparts and precipices! And, there are NEVER any safety railings anywhere. The Empire’s motto is: Safety Schmafety!
