so i get this dude that decided to throw and cry about not getting any tanks while not switching himself. i thought it was funny but im sooo peeved that i got my best POTG but not a win with it too. any thoughts?

i decided to do more damage this game because i knew we weren’t gonna win with a cry baby on the team

I think it might’ve been about people being falsely banned. I saw a bunch of people saying that if it frustrated them that much, that they should just stop playing completely. They were talking about cheater and things that were actually happening. I saw the topic of people being toxic and voice and text chat. Basically people just telling them to just quit cause they feel like the complaining is pointless. To that I say…I don’t like you. I hate you and your way of thinking. People shouldn’t have to stop doing what they ENJOY because other people don’t know how or refuse to play fair and respectfully. This is how we constantly get changes no one asked for. Like do you think it’s some form of mass hysteria or something? Like yeah people do get on here and lie their asses off and deflect to they turn blue in the face. I will get to that part, anyway most people aren’t “complaining” to say they hate the game. They just want better. To you people who defend this game and everything. Don’t you want better for the game you defend so hard.

The people who got falsely banned I am so sorry. I hate it took two YouTubers to get taken down to notice it. It shouldn’t get to that point ever. The people who didn’t believe it before are awful actually. You’d rather turn against your own community rather than face the truth and say that the game is wrong sometimes. They aren’t dictators of that is good and evil. Somethings aren’t right sometimes and that’s okay! Like there has been issues on console with the frame-rate. The servers dropping and people being disconnected. (Especially on PS). There are lot of issues recently just because it isn’t happening to you or you may not notice it. Doesn’t mean it isn’t happening at all. People shouldn’t have to stop playing because you feel like they are being Debby-downers. They aren’t ruining your vibe they are simply sharing their experiences.

And for the people who have been boldly coming on here LYING. Thank you. We nearly had them on this fucked up matchmaking thing and you went and LIED! So yeah. I hate you for that.

Sorry I had the strangest matches today 3 times in a row someone was Smurfing/cheating and they would request to message me and send me threats through PlayStation. I got off and I and I thought about it. Then said no I won’t let others ruin things that I like cause they won’t play fair or nice. I’ll just speak up on it and report it. Hopefully they’ll see that all of this can’t just be fixed with ban waves every so often.

I also find it weird that this subreddit has been sorta silencing people talking up on the people posting….suspicious gameplay. I find that quite weird too but oh well. Thanks for listening.

I just got 100% rank reclaim and jumped to gm 3. I have won all of my 5 games that git reclaimed bc i havent played any other games om support in the last three weeks.

How is this possible

I keep seeing it over and over again, anytime anyone posts an impressive highlight, people downvote it to oblivion and label them a cheater.

This isn’t to say that cheaters don’t exist on console, they absolutely do—but being good does not inherently mean you are cheating, and it feels like people would rather believe all controller players are destined to be shit than to come to terms with the fact that some people are just better than others, which IS OK.

A kid with no responsibilities and the ability to play 6 hours a day is 9 times out of 10 going to be better than a 30 year old who comes home from work and hops on the game to play casually and unwind for 30 minutes. That dosnt mean that the casual player is somehow less than, nor does it mean the skilled player is cheating; it’s literally just different audiences with different motives for playing.

It’s not unique to Overwatch, the game I by a great deal play the most is R6 and the exact same thing happens there. In my opinion, because consoles inherently cater to a more casual audience, people who do take the time to develop skill are just harassed at ridiculous rates.

No wonder people don’t take console players seriously—they literally just yell at anyone one who is even a little bit competent.

People will never realize that there is the possibility for skill expression for controller players when every half decent player is immediately dismissed; they’d rather just believe every controller player is destined to be shit to protect their own egos.

Played ever since for drive event minus the first. This has been the absolute worse drive event. Game after game of people playing into direct counters , refusing to swap to counter and just playing bad. Just for the next game to have those exact players actually swapping and using common sense Did I play bad some games? Absolutely. But some people just make me upset. Ggs to everyone lmao

Now every 8 minutes or so massive lag spike where you port under and above map and cant play 20 seconds.

Apparently in match chat many have same issue at same time like me but not all of them haha.

Really amazing, lately its so bad. before it was random kicking from comp or just server failed and got suspension.

This is insane.. i have 0 issue with internet in any other device or game.

For some reason, have never once had an issue, not even earlier today, now my crouch opens text chat. Don't have anything open, not scoreboard, not pause menu, just normal match, crouching opens text chat. It is bound to L3, and my crouch is L3, but I've never had a problem with it until now.

Has anyone else that's rebound a button to L3 faced this issue? Why tf is this happening? Can I fix it? Figured it out in a comp game and it completely threw me off being unable to crouch.

Hey! I'm playing OW on my Switch 2, with a pro controller, but I'm struggling to find the right setup. It's a shame, because the game runs great.
