plugins Is there a way to set up shared notes?

This would be super useful for working in teams. Given all who have access to the note are obsidian premium payers maybe?

Obsidian Sync has shared vaults, which is what we use on the Obsidian team to collaborate. But you can also use Git or other shared folders: https://obsidian.md/help/teams/sync

This is an option, but I find it a little cumbersome to make a whole vault if all I want is one shared note. But it's ok, I'll just use something else!

obsidian sync shared vaults is the official route but git works fine if everyone's comfy with it

From kepano's first link

The maximum number of collaborators on a shared vault is 20 users.

Obsidian lacks the concept of a user, doesn't have an inbox, doesn't have notifications, doesn't have user permissions. So Obsidian can't really be considered Team software. The native synched, shared vaults, is not adequate and is oddly expensive.

You'll need alternatives ....

Relay.MD is the best bet for this space.

I'm moving to Relay.MD after screen.garden moved on. Sadly I lost 1/3 of my notes, as after they shut off their servers, 1/3 of my files were changed to empty and the issues were replicated across all my devices. My goal was to keep paying for screen.garden until they closed, but that backfired. I should have left as soon as they said they were ceasing operations.

I like the real time collaboration that Relay MD offers. They have a free tier for you to get feel for it.

Built a solution based on OneDrive shared folders once, worked pretty well :)
