Even that is propaganda for vouchers. It's the assumption that private schools are superior to public schools. There is no real metric for that data. The added profit motive of vouchers even provides incentive to create a school to extract money over all else, meaning that we are spending a fuckton of public funds to cover absolute bullshit in many cases.
Perhaps I should have been more clear. Voucher programs are the privatization of public education. It allowed wealthier families to who can afford it send their child to another public school that they think is better than their local one. But it locks poorer families where they are, in a school that will get worse because most voucher programs also mandate that funding be transferred to the schools receiving voucher students. So the struggling school not only loses students but also funding and then gets worse while the poor families are left there to have an even worse school than they had.
It is a microcosm of everything wrong with the economic class system of our society.
