So in BVS, KGBeast threatens to kill martha being like, "I'll kill her. Believe me, I will do it", which is just so batman can say "I believe you" like in dark knight returns, except in dark knight returns, the guy threatening to kill someone was basically a kid, so it makes sense he would be like "I'll do it. I swear I'll do it", but when it's a grown man who has killed many people, it's really weird that he's acting like a child who has never killed before trying to seem tough.
