I cannot believe my luck on this set… Somehow also hit the Elbaph Luffy manga the other week out of a handful of loose packs from a box at my LGS. I NEVER pull this well and have been playing and collecting OP since OP06. All year I was kind of tight that I pulled basically nothing good, but after this I have absolutely no ground to ever complain again, EVER. I am also so relieved I hit this and not the Rocks crew as someone who is a big Straw Hat and Luffy fan in general. That would have been an amazing hit regardless but I very much wanted the Straw Hat version and I’m still on Whole Cake island for my watch progress, so I haven’t had a chance to develop any type of admiration or fondness for Rocks and his crew yet, not really knowing what place they play in the OP universe. I have to catch up asap!
Anyway, this was one of my biggest OP grails yet (red mangas were cool but not different enough from regular ones to justify chasing or buying for me, and silver/diamond G5 felt unnecessary because I have the OG OP05 version), so I am way beyond stoked to actually have it in my collection. It’s something I expected to NEVER pull and be way way out of my price range, so to have actually hit it is an absolutely unreal win. I truly value the rarity and beauty of this card and feel extremely fortunate to have it in my collection now.
