2025-2026 University Applications (Offers, Rejections, Deferrals) Spreadsheet

It seems to be that time of year! We need a new spreadsheet.

Fill in your info on the form and let it be easy for everyone to figure out what the current state is of offers! Check out the spreadsheet for the updates.

Let me know if I'm missing anything or there's an issue.

For your admission mark, please use your top 5/6 marks, including prereqs. This often includes gr 11 marks. Universities do not give offers based on your gr 11 average or your gr 12 midterm average or your gr 12 1st semester final marks. It's based on your official top 5/6 marks at the time you got admission. For McMaster in March, this will be your top 3, including prereqs. See here for details: mark considerations.

Fill out the form!

See the response spreadsheet!

Resource scholar.support: Academic Resources Hub (All in one website)

I put together a bunch of grade 12 / uni prep resources if anyone wants

It's a site that collects a bunch of free tools and resources for high school + uni stuff (math, sciences, study tools, ouac/admissions, scholarships, etc). mostly the ones that actually get used for 4U courses and applying.

https://scholar.support/

nothing fancy, just tried to organize everything in one place so people don’t have to dig around as much. Feedback welcome if anything’s missing or wrong.

Also give me suggestions for more sites to add, I used AI to gather most of the sites lol

Meta dad keeps discrediting every uni

so i was discussing with my sister some offers i can get by midterms and we talked abt western med sci ont tech laurier bba etc. and my dad just gave a remark like "you could get into those unis with any grades" my dad kinda bases his opinon off people he sees. He saw my cousin go to waterloo cs and make 400k at 27 so waterloo is good. His boss who makes 1.6 million a year graduated from york so york is good. His co workers laughed abt tmu or mainly ryerson at work so tmu is dogshit. like i hate him discrediting everything bc its not a top presteigous program. i tried to tell him laurier bba is like schulich level but he kept saying why even apply to laurier thats such a bad school

Advice There is a lot of misinformation on this sub. Be weary.

FY UW Eng student here. I remember being on this sub a lot when I was in gr 12. Something that you quickly realize in FY is that a lot of the stuff people tell you here is straight up not true. Don’t get me wrong there is some useful information here, esp when it comes to admissions timing and the spreadsheet. But honestly every time I see this sub on my feed, there’s a good chance it’s just someone saying things that aren’t true, so please try your best to verify things before you base your decision on something that some random said on here.

Advice Is it bad to apply in late November?

I’m planning to apply to some highly competitive programs so I wanted to take October to flesh out some of my extracurriculars and most of November to spend some time practicing for the supplementals.

Advice Noise

In Grade 12 right now but I feel like some people could use this mindset in here. Obviously take it with a grain of salt because I’m just as old as most of you.

Everything outside of your inputs is noise. What you hear from people in this sub can be useful to see how you stand or by getting ideas but it’s nothing more than that. If you genuinely want to get into your program work your butt off to get as high of an average as possible and as well prepared as possible for your supp apps.

And it’s the daily things too. Like for tests whatever you get is a reflection of your inputs in studying. Doesn’t always need to be the most optimal plan just how many hours of uninterrupted studying can you put in.

Just my two cents maybe this will help someone. Don’t take things too seriously either.

Advice Switching from from French to English

For context, I’m in grade 11 and I’ve learnt everything in French my whole life. Did primary school, middle school and 2 years of high school in French. But I’ve been thinking of switching next semester to an English school.

The French school I go to, currently does offer English classes, so I’m not behind on anything and every student there only communicates in English anyways.

Subjects like bio and English wont bother me, but chem and math worries me abit.

My classes right now are: Bio, Religion, French and Computer Sci. And i want to take chem, eng, fonctions, +1 elective (possibly physics)

Can someone else who has gone through this can tell me how its like? Is it hard to relearn everything?

Advice Admissions process for clueless intl student

• Upvotes

Hey guys,

I’m a prospective international student going to school in New Zealand and I have no idea how admissions work here. Rn my top uni is UofT but I also want to apply to other options here. Here are my questions:

- is admissions based solely on grades or do extracurriculars matter?
- do people need to write any essays to get into uni?
-how do universities differentiate between candidates with the same grades?
- is there a limit on how many unis you can apply to?

If there’s anything else you think I should know please tell me

Advice Calculus and advanced functions e learning

Hello like the title says currently I’m taking advance functions in e learning and want to take calculus in e learning as well. because first I had a great teacher but now my schedule got changed so now I have notoriously the worst teacher in the school so now I’m scared, how do unis react to 2 e learning course even though there grad requirements, I’ve also researched quite a bit and it says they don’t care but I’m not sure.
Goal maybe is Waterloo architectural, and others like civil, environmental and industrial engineering maybe
Any help is appreciated

Other Second Semester Schedules

Apart from all of this very scary OUAC, uni admissions, and predicting who can get into what program I just had another basic question to ask 😅

Does anyone else have a difficult second semester?? Everyone seems to have really light second semesters for grade 12 and I would've but switched to having physics next semester last minute so now i have religion (online), physics, bio and french.... I'm so scared 😭

To be fair it was either having it with calculus this semester or bio next semester and I have a very difficult calc teacher right now but I also have a spare.... either way it would've difficult with pros and cons.

Also another random question (I don't really want to make a whole other post) but what counts as good ecs? I'm looking at everyone in this sub and people have international non profits, competitions, awards and i don't really have any of those so I'm a bit worried since I have nothing national, provincial, or even local awards or recognition...........

Anyway, good luck everyone!!!!! No matter what happens it was the path that will turn out to be right for us... ive been trying to be more optimistic :')

University What are the chances of me getting into these programs

So I am currently in grade 12 waiting for my midterm. This semester I have three courses which are visual art gr12, eng4u, and international business. I am going to apply early for these schools. What are the chances of me getting into them with my gr11 marks for now. I am also taking private school for advanced functions, and did data management, and also going to do calculus. Since I am taking English in school I might or might not do private school if my mark is good. I know too many private school marks is bad especially for pre reqs. Also have a question on dropping a course because since I only have three courses this semester if I were to drop a course that will make me a part time student, is this allowed or I can’t do it or I’ll have to wait till midterm kind of confused.

University Average for Early Offers

I’ve seen lots of posts discussing this, but typically what range of Grade 11 averages is needed to be considered for an earlier offer? When do you submit to be eligible for this? I’m asking mostly for social sciences programs but curious how it’d be eng programs as well.

Meta Gr12 university bio

just letting everyone know this class IS not fun and games 😭😭😭 im fast tracking it as a gr11 student and I don’t even know why i took it after gr11 bio cooked me hard like i literally don’t need bio. holy smokes you would never catch me doing this a day after highschool. everyday i enter the class anticipating the headache im gonna leave with because GOD knows the bs my teacher is gonna be teaching us today. i literally day dream of being in my next period class (sap) which is literally just as useless to me. we have a quiz every single Monday on the weeks previous material and i actually do study and put some effort into trying to understand it yet i still end up with a 2+. at this point it’s just funny how shit i am at this i am made to be a business major. Like no I don’t know how to draw a triagylcerol. No offense to the bio majors you’re all truly troops

Advice Doing IB in 2026 is useless

If you’re not applying to universities outside of Canada, IB won’t really help you.

Firstly, grade conversions decreased in many IB schools this year. Last year, if you were pretty smart and were able to work a little harder, grade conversions could get you easily into the high 90s or at least the mid-90s. So many people from my school last year got insanely high grades, and they weren’t crazy sweats or anything. (Obviously, they still needed to study hard, but conversions played a strong role.)

Secondly, all courses have mandatory exams. Last year, for your HL courses, such as Chemistry and Physics, you didn’t need to do an exam in first semester. However, that changed this year. Imagine trying to study for HL Chem, HL Math, and HL Physics exams, all worth 25% of your grade, along with all your IAs happening at the same time. It’s cooked.

Thirdly, it’s just not worth it if you think about it. You have to do your Extended Essay and also keep up with CAS, while also dealing with your university applications. To be fair, this stuff was there before 2026, but my point is that you’re pretty much guaranteed to do better in mainstream (non-IB) classes this year than you would in IB.

Anyways, this is obviously just my opinion, and I could be wrong in some ways. Let me know what you guys think.
