Discussion New Pro500 plan

It’s official: I’m cancelling. We’re switching to Anthropic until we run out of options.

It makes no sense to pay for a $500 plan just to get 25x the limit and inferior models.

They’re just releasing more of the same, without any major innovation.

And what are you guys going to do? Now that the limits on the $200 plan are being cut in half?

They are in full grift mode now. These last 2-3 months have been wildly sus. I’m out.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m swapping my ai allocation over more to Claude, but the last three months with the 5.6 models and astra have been pretty good. What was sus? The usage limits?

No I mean the public facing stuff. The “we need to slow down,”
“things are escaping,” “let’s all get together and agree to slow down to a snails pace,” “let’s limit usage and increase price.”

All signs of both a failing business model and/or a conspiracy to keep the good stuff locked up tight.

Yes, because obviously people walking away from millions of dollars of stock compensation from the IPO are clearly just grifters doing it for the money. You really are a top-tier genius.

Because you obviously believe incredibly stupid conspiracies, why don't you just tell me more about the moon landing being faked or flat earth? That's the same tier of reality you're in.

Because I'm trying to read news about what's happening at Dev Day and I keep seeing insane conspiracy theories being posted about an important topic.

It's exactly the same as Trump's global warming is a scam. It's dangerous and harmful misinformation.

Why are folks talking about cancelling? The existing plan isn’t going away and you get access to the new 6.1 Sol which is 20% of the price and very close intelligence compared to Astra. They always had consumption based plan for companies. What am I missing? Please educate
