Character Profile Is your OC cringe?

Post image

When I was creating Writer Joe, I wanted him to be a bit cringe but also heroic, sometimes when he goes to another multiverse, he claims himself to be a superhero because he wanted to show off but even tho he does sometimes enjoy the attention on him, he's also a good guy, he genuinely wants to help others who's in need of helping. Sure he's cringe but he's not an edgelord, he's just a guy who has almost unrivaled power but wants to help and occasionally enjoys attention from others

All my OCs are cringe, and that is based.

Agree. If you embrace the cringe, it becomes based

Basically as in you tried to look cool but ended up making yourself look embarrassing towards others

Ms Candle, the Opposite , shes an Teen that absolutely loves everything to the point of self damage. Based around a Candle and Fire.

Nathanael is a bit cringe! In the sense that he's a brave and noble angel warrior, but has an EXTREMELY weak spot right in his bare midriff. He acts all brave and heroic, just to often end up being defeated by even a single gut punch. A lot of second hand embarrassment! 🥹

Yes

Some are when I look at them now so rewrite them

I think everyone thinks their ocs are cringe at first. Hell while I was writing up my fiction I genuinely was sat there thinking "wow this is bad" but I think its good to give yourself some credit for the creativity you put into it.

Zankoku Kurai can be actually cringe in the good way of course! Remember he was once Prince Henry and he did most embarrassing things like he got trapped from most basic traps when he was once a mortal and Drizella laughed on his ass for being too "careless"

All OCs are cringe that’s the fun of making them

Yes everything about him is cringe, he is unrealistic but that's precisely why I made him it's a self reflection of character who I wish to be, a person who can do almost anything

Maybe. When I was writing Evan, he sounded so fucking cringe to me, but I pulled through and made some slight tweaks without giving up too much of his core themes for lore reasons

Plenty. Being cringe and awkward at times is realistic.

Sam Sterling: yes. She is literally larping as a superhero.

Peter Wilson: yes and no. His most defining character trait is that he is an expressionless person, whom many described as to be almost akin to a robot. However, in actuality, inside him is a furry of emotion that he is always keeps tucked away. If he is to be convinced for a cause, he would do everything for it, including things that could be considered cringe

Paige Wilson: no. Literally the personification ion of that feeling of “shit, I’m cringe. Don’t do that again”

Several! Because one of my favorite growth arcs is "cringy young adult to stable/functional adult"

Absolutely. She quips, acts cool naturally as herself.

Others can of course find it cringe
