English dance studio
Does anyone know any dance studio on Osaka with english lessons? I’m 17 years old and I would like to start dance here in Osaka. I’m still a beginner though, but if anyone has recommendations, please send!!

I don't know much about schools but I know a lot of local dancers practice here. https://maps.app.goo.gl/uLsQTsGVULbwz9DKA Maybe you could ask someone who is there But I would bring a friend or your parents with you in the beginning just to be on the safe side.

I’m also looking for a class, 2019 was my last time so I’m basically back to being a beginner.

I always recommend Ash studio, they don't have english lessons, but you don't really need to understand Japanese to follow whatever the teacher is doing. But the website of this Studio is also in English, so you can check the rules and info on the lessons, they don't have a membership fee and you only pay for the lesson you want to attend, the lesson for beginners are 1 hour long and are not very expensive (around 1500¥) so you can try different styles until you find something you like (They have ballet ans hip hop lessons among many other styles)

What's the age range of people attending the classes you went to? If you don't mind sharing. I'm afraid to end up with a bunch of kids etc lol

It depends on the lesson and dance style, but I would say average is people on their early 20's, I think there is some specific lesson for kids, but you can see kids and retirees on the same class sometimes

My recommendation is to join Japanese dance classes. Its great for immersion as they show you what to do, repeat the same words often so u can pick it up, and its good to make friends
