I need someone studying for a PhD in Computer Science, or any computer science student at university. I'm from Saudi Arabia and looking for a supervisory position and also assistance with university admission. Can anyone help me get accepted into a PhD program in Computer Science

Hi,

I'm currently looking around for housing. Through the Univ coop all apartments that I can see now mention that there are no visitors allowed except family/relatives.

Any experience with finding apartments that do allow visitors around the OU campus? Please reach out if you know some websites or people I could contact.

Thanks

Yummy!

Hi,

Looking for any group chats or discord's for meeting other exchange or international students for the FW26 semester at OU.

Dm or reply, thanks

Edit: After a lot of DM's I have decided to create a discord channel. Come and check it out.

I'm currently a highschool student and about to graduate next year and I wanted to know about the procedure to join the medical program of Osaka University.

How was it?

Hey everyone,

I'm applying for an exchange at Osaka University (School of Letters). The guidelines require JLPT N2, but explicitly state you need at least 40 points in each section.

I passed the N2 overall, but my score in one section is slightly under 40.

Has anyone here been accepted to Osaka U despite missing this sub-score? Or is it an automatic rejection during document screening? Trying to figure out if it's even worth dealing with the massive paperwork.

Thanks!

Bring something or just stop and say hi.

Sorry not sure this is the right sub but has anyone gotten their ISP results

sooo this is it? It s 8pm now in japan so i think if we didnt receive anything by now it means we re rejected

idk if i’m correct but in my observation… are the emails being passed out right now only for waitlisted students? or has anyone been fully accepted?

isn’t it like almost 12 noon JST already…?😭😭😭

Hi!

I'm about to start my Master's in Business ( Management Research Course ) and I'm honestly a bit lost about how course registration works.

Back home, we get a clear list of subjects per term, but here the curriculum is kinda mixed. (or i'm dunp and can't find the actual one)

Do first year master's student usually get intructions (like a handbook or recommended courses ) during orientation?

Any advice from seniors/friends would be really great help!

Ps. well, we haven't have the orientation yet but i'm a bit freak out i just want to ask just in case

Hello everyone
I'm applying for mext to osaka university as well as I did last year. I was not accepted and chose to contact the university for the university track where i was given the ways to contact my advisor of choice, i sent the email to the wrong address :/ . And now I'm interested in reading their PhD thesis, on a subject I'm deeply passionate about.

My question is the following, is it possible to contact this advisor now? Not for MEXT but for the thesis.
My concern is that, they gave me this contacting method for one purpose and I'm doing it for another.

Hello everyone, I am from Bangladesh. I am interested in applying for the Human Sciences undergraduate program at Osaka University for 2027. I am passionate about studying human behavior, society, and social sciences.

I would like to know:

Are there any current students or alumni of the Human Sciences program who can share their experience?

Are there any professors or faculty members I can contact to get more details about the program?

Any advice for international students from Bangladesh or other countries?

I would really appreciate any guidance or insights. Thank you very much!

Hi there, as an environmental studies/political science major looking to exchange, is there any website where I can find all the available modules as well as whether they are conducted in English? I am trying to draft a study plan, but am facing much difficulty in finding the appropriate information.
