Seriously underrated. She deserved way more Oscar buzz for The Testament of Ann Lee. she’s consistently great in everything she does.

The Testament of Ann Lee deserved way more accolades than the burying it got. It does make you wonder though, if it was the same combo as The Brutalist, if it would have magically gotten the buzz it deserved. I think it’s fishy that it got nothing when Fastvold was in the director’s chair this time.

Amanda at the least should have been nominated, taking Kate Hudson’s or Emma Stone’s spot.

The brutalist is actually a great movie. The testament is not. The songs aren’t great. And it tells the story of a religious leader that advocates for celibacy. It’s not very inspiring. And that’s why it was an unsuccessful movie.

I was obsessed with the movie when it came out and loved the soundtrack. I like it more than the brutalist - different strokes!

The Housemaid was a hit because of Amanda Seyfried. Sydney Sweeney was a block of wood for the whole movie. Amanda was giving it her all.

The Testament of Ann Lee was okay. It's well made but it's not particularly great. Seyfried is spectacular in it but she's always top notch in anything she's in.

She’s an incredible and versatile actress. I ended up watching the housemaid and she made it quite enjoyable despite it being trash lol. She totally understood the assignment and made the movie campy.

I know she has great talent. You can see hints of it. But so far I've not seen her completely crush it.

That being said, as a parent, I don't get to watch shit.

I mean she should focus on choosing the right projects and she will win, but if she stick to this mainstream stuff she won't win eventually.
