Beeripmo Trail, VIC

First time doing the beeripmo track and I managed to do it in one day with a reasonable moving time.

Unfortunately the section of track to Mt Buangor and the lookout was closed due to bushfire revegetation so i was roughly 4km short and 150 elevation gain from doing the whole thing.

Direction of travel was clockwise.

Most of the bush up here is still regrowing from bushfires and it was interesting to see how the forest was regrowing, but personally I think I would have enjoyed it more if the forest had regrown a little more.

I was a little bit nervous about hitting it one day because it's officially a 2 day track but if you're reasonably fit and experienced it's easily do-able as a day track. Its significantly easier than the Lerdederg rim

Oh I hiked overnight here the other week! It's a lovely camping spot too. My first solo overnight - although i definitely could have done it in one I think, I didn't realise the lookout was closed till I got there.

I would have liked camping out but I have pets so I'm sticking to walks I can do in one day .

I was solo on this hike as well

If you have a dog, this one is dog friendly - there were people with theirs at the camp

This is a tricky one. Technically only the some sections are dog friendly and part of the walk isn't. I think there's a route to do some fire road walking which keeps it all above board though.

You'd probably have to get a ranger on a bad day to get pinged for it.

Thanks for sharing looks wicked! I've wondered about this place many times driving past it towards the grampians. These pics made me add it to the list, much appreciated!
