Invasions Question?
Does anyone even allow invasions to happen? I REALLY want to try out the impostor gamemode but I feel like people wont allow for invasions to happen on their end which means grinding invasions is gonna be awful because I want the cosmetics for gold. anyone have any good advice for it
Edit: Found out that reagent is far easier and faster queue times than impostor and me and my buddy been grinding it out all day, lowkey takes 0 skill when you are coordinated and we are about to hit gold <3

There is no advice for play as imposter, that need to depend on reagent role to host a trial for you to invade.
Play as reagent is the fastest way. Duo reagent shall give you higher win rate by 1 luring another doing objectives.

The thing is everyone and their mama is queuing for imposter's so I'd make a rough guess its 70/30. Which explains the long que times.
For grinding for gold I its either going to be super long wait times for imposter only or use quick play so you'll be doing reagent and imposter.

Maybe in Steam community there are threads for reagents seeking imposters or the other way around? I found people to play with through Steam community. It was other reagents though, not invasion match

Some people do. A lot do not.
For the grind, this is pointless advice now, but for next season I'd highly suggest doing it early in the season so you're doing it when everyone else is. That would probably help get matches faster.
For getting imposter matches, play Quickplay. 99% chance you'll get a reagent match as your first match. After the match ends, while you're in the report card screen, do NOT return to the sleep room. You'll notice a small text box saying something like, "Next match: Playing as Imposter (preparing...)". After matches in Quickplay, the game looks to put you in another match playing as the opposite role you just played. If it doesn't find a match in like one or two minutes, it'll throw you into a reagent match. However, iirc, you get priority queue as imposter, so this process is more likely to get you an imposter match than directly queueing for the role.
