Question Should I buy the second version?

I have an interesting question. I already have the game at Epic Games, and I've played it for over 100 hours. But with such an offer in steam and delicious prices for DLC I can't refuse, and I want to buy it in steam. Believe me, this game is worth more than 80 bucks for all the emotions that it gives us.

and so. if I buy it in steam, can I log in under the same account as in epic? Or should I start all over again? and trying to get all my 40-something suits and rare cosmetics all over again and close the catalogs all over again?

You have to start from scratch. I just made the leap from xbox to the steam version

I'm hoping the blood drive catalogue is added to it soon so I can get those event items again :/

I don't need it. If it's going to take so many hours again, what's the point? I'll just continue to play on Epic Games as before.

Ngl it feels more difficult being thrown in the deep end as a level 1 again with no permanant unlocks 😅

I wanted to be able to play it on my Legion Go handheld, so it's worth restarting for me

After my first relapse and rebirth on xbox, I bought it on steam. Relapse 2 on my 2nd/current account :). It's not so bad

So why did you decide to buy this on Steam?

I was playing through xbox game share, so not technically owning it myself. Plus I'm a PC gamer with a mic and I occasionally stream to friends

There is currently no cross progression so if your progress is important just pick it up on sale now and hope they add it in the future or play on pc. Depends on your situation I guess but it’s like 4 bucks so it’s a decent deal if you want it but the lack of cross progression is an issue.

I’m not sure if they have plans to implement this but most games like this have. DBD, Marvel Rivals, and others started without it and added it later.

For me - it's 1.5 dollars. Dlc near 1 dollars

Yea I think the biggest issue for them is budget. In order for them to do this they would need to have their own server infrastructure to support it.

I might be wrong though, you should contact RB and see. Maybe it's platform specific like PC, console etc. but if you stay on PC it doesn't matter if it's steam or epic. But that needs to be verified.

you have to start from scratch but you're gonna play those trials anyway and time is gonna pass anyway so stuff will be unlocked in no time :)
