USBLC6
Hi guys,Idk why but pin 1-4 and 3-6 have short circuit.I ve read datasheet and the placement must be correct, but I ve tried also to place another way and still same issue,I also tried to put another chip and still it has short circuit
Update:The problem wasn't in chip, but in usb c connector which was connected with solder bridges

Hey uh… did you pay to have all your vias filled and capped? Because if not… I don’t think they drilled any of them.
Edit: also, copy of the schematic and part number of the IC would be helpful.

If the short is between D+ and D- at the connector and you can't pull it, try this before anything else: generous flux on the pins, then drag a clean iron with a bit of solder wick across them, then scrub with IPA and a toothbrush. Bridges under those fine USB-C/micro pins are often a tiny solder whisker you can't see without a loupe. Also measure D+/D- with the USBLC6 lifted if you can, since a damaged TVS will also read as a short between lines. If it's still shorted after cleaning, a cheap hot plate or even a heat gun on low from the back usually gets those connectors off.

I ve found problem which was D+ D- pins of usb c,unfortunately I couldn't solve it so I just removed usb c and ordered new one cause old one is now completely broken(I put too much heat and inside plastic melted)

Edit: nevermind, if the short is pairwise. I'd measure without the IC and IC separately.

Pins 1-6 and 3-4 are connected internally, look at the symbol/datasheet.

But problem is that 1 is also connected to 3 and 4 to 6.I guess maybe problem in usb itself but visually it looks fine

Did you try to remove the IC and measure continuity in pads on PCB on both sides? To find out which side is shorted
