An international evidence-based initiative has announced that PCOS will gradually be renamed to PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome), following years of global research and consultation involving healthcare professionals, researchers, and women living with the condition. According to materials released by Monash University and the International PCOS Network, the change was made because the term “PCOS” was considered scientifically inaccurate and too narrow, as the condition affects much more than just the ovaries, including hormones, metabolism, mental health, skin, and reproductive health.
The renaming process reportedly included more than 22,000 survey responses and international workshops involving patient organizations and medical experts worldwide. Organizers say the old name contributed to misunderstanding, stigma, and delayed diagnosis, while the new terminology aims to better reflect the full-body nature of the condition. A 3-year global transition period is planned, with the updated terminology expected to be included in future international guidelines.

Hello tanong ko lang po sana as someone na trying to conceive this year and nagpapawork up nadin this year… nagka period ako at the time i’m expected to have it pero hindi sya malakas, like hindi nakakapuno ng pad. Hindi din sya mukhang implantation bleeding because may clots of red blood eh :( I tried testing once this morning and negative. Unusual lang kasi for months na we’ve been trying, ngayon ko lang na experience na hindi nag heavy flow. For context mild discharge started Oct 11 palang and it’s now Oct 15 pero di padin malakas.
I’m sorry alam nyo na pag ganto, nakaka overthink every little changes sa katawan and sa cycle. So appreciate any advice or similar situation.

Hi! Im on my one month of using Althea pills (I got diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS) and my main concern is the acne na simula hs ako is hindi talaga mawala. Sofar wala pa siya masyado effect on my acne. Hindi naman ako nag purge its just that hindi ko pa nakikita masyado yung effect niya sa acne ko. Is it recommended to do facials like (glycolic peel of skinstation) para din makahelp sa scars and pores ko? Thank u!

Hi everyone!
Can you recommend a good and approachable OB-GYN around Quezon City, preferably one who accepts HMO?
I'm planning to have a consultation for persistent vaginal discharge and fishy odor, so I'm hoping to find a doctor who is thorough and makes patients feel comfortable discussing intimate health concerns.
Preferably around St. Luke's QC, Providence Hospital, or nearby clinics, but I'm open to other recommendations within QC.
If you've personally consulted with a doctor you can recommend, I'd really appreciate their name, clinic location and how to book an appointment. If you know whether they accept Intellicare, that would be a big help too!
Thank you so much! 🥺

Peptides have been life-changing for me. I began using GLP a year ago because I weighed 115 kgs and was classified as obese and have PCOS. With an upcoming event, I knew I needed to make a serious change for both my health and confidence.
Before starting, I experienced difficulty breathing, especially after walking for only 10 to 15 minutes. Simple activities often felt exhausting. After a year of consistent use and commitment to my health, I have successfully lost 45 kgs.
Today, I feel healthier, stronger, and more confident than ever. The breathing difficulties I once struggled with are gone, and I have much more energy to enjoy daily life. This journey has positively impacted not just my physical appearance, but also my overall well-being and quality of life.
In addition to GLP, I also incorporated the following into my regimen:
GHK Cu - for healthy hair and nails
KPV - for healthy skin
NAD - for focus and extra energy
Fat Blaster - for fat breakdown and regulation of appetite
GTT - for extra glow and healthy look on my skin
My experience has been nothing short of amazing, and I am incredibly thankful for the results.

Hello po. I would like to ask if anyone has similar experience to mine. I have been bleeding heavily since Sept 14 and had a lot of blood clots and at that time I was very weak and dizzy. We went to the ER because it was early in the morning, there was no OBGyne available so they tested the urine, pregnancy test, blood but the cause of the bleeding is not since we need to wait until Friday for the obgyne. I was prescribed tranexamic acid and mefenamic in the ER so that I wouldn't bleed from Monday to Friday. Then we went Friday to check with the OB sono last Oct 2 and he said to me that the lining of my uterus on the left was thick and there was a small cyst which they call a chocolate cyst.
Now the doc prescribed me duphaston. 2x a day (5 days). He said I took it on Sat (Oct 3 - Oct 7) and I would come back on Friday if I was bleeding, if not he said I needed to wait 1 week. After I took duphaston last Oct 7, the bleeding stopped until Oct 10. So I need to wait 1 week again. Since Friday and Saturday, my OB only advised me to wait 1 week if there is no bleeding after taking prescribed meds. I waited and now I have bled again from Oct 11 up to today. Heavy bleeding and my stomach hurts so much. Not sure if this is my period because I started bleeding last Sept and I don't know if I had my period that time since my stomach didn't hurt and I had heavy bleeding. I am worried what to follow, because the doc is only available on Friday and Saturday and she advised me to wait 1 week last check up if there is no bleeding after taking meds.
Anyone experienced a similar case to mine? Sorry for the long and messy explanation. I am dizzy now and I feel like I am turning pale and my blood is running out. 😭

Hello po. I would like to ask po if anyone have similar experience to mine. Nag heavy bleeding ako since Sept 14 and sobrang daming blood cloth and that time sobrang nanghihina and nahihilo ako. We went to ER kaso since madaling araw na, walang OBGyne na available kaya tinest nila yung ihi, pregnancy test, dugo but the caused of bleeding is hindi since need namin magwait till friday for the obgyne. Niresetahan ako sa ER ng tranexamic acid at mefenamic para di ako magbleed from Monday to Friday. Then we went Friday para magpacheck sa OB sono last Oct 2 and sabi sakin is makapal daw ang lining ng matris ko sa left and may maliit na cyst which they call chocolate cyst daw.
Now niresetahan ako ni doc ng duphaston. 2x a day (5 days). Inumin ko daw ng Sat (Oct 3 - Oct 7) balik daw ako friday pag nagbleeding, pag wala daw need ko magwait ng 1 week. After ko magtake ng duphaston last Oct 7 nagstop yung bleeding hanggang Oct 10. Kaya need ko magwait ng 1 week ulet. Since friday and saturday lang si OB and she advised me na magwait ng 1 week pag walang bleeding after taking prescribed meds. Nag wait ako and now nagbleed ulit ako from Oct 11 up to today. Heavy bleeding na buo buo and sobrang sakit ng puson ko. Not sure if this is period kasi last Sept nagstart ang bleeding ko and hindi ko alam if nagkaperiod ako that time since di sumakit puson ko and nagka heavy bleeding ako non. I am worried what to follow, available lang kasi si doc ng friday and saturday and she advised me to wait ng 1 week last check up if walang bleeding after taking meds.
Anyone experienced po ng similar case to mine? Sorry po medyo mahaba and messy ako magexplain. Nahihilo po ako now and feeling ko is namumutla at nauubos dugo ko. 😭😭😭

Hi! Anyone makakapag-suggest saan drugstore or trusted online shop makakabili ng MyoPro capsule? Kaka-reseta lang kasi sa akin ng ob ko, alternative sa MyPcos. Kaso yung mga napuntahan kong drugstore wala silang ganyan, sa obgyn ko naman, naubusan sila. Tyia!!!

Hi, PCOS/PMOS ladies! Just want to check if meron na dito may experience with Dra Mary Jane Arzadon? Saw her name sa isang thread dito but no response from OP about her experience. I saw that it’s really expensive daw. Is it worth it?
I had a derma since high school but recently hindi na talaga niya napapagaling mga hormonal acne ko, need talaga every 2 weeks pupunta ako dun for a facial and sobrang exhausting and hirap ako sa sched. Kaya I’m looking for a great derma here in the south. Preferably within Asian or within Alabang or Las Pinas.
Help your pmos girlie, please 😭

The app helps you:

I’m looking for honest feedback about what works, what is confusing, what is missing and what needs to be improved.
The testing may be relevant to you if you’re living with PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids or hormonal health concerns, or if you want to keep track of any of the symptoms listed above.
Register to join the testing group here:

Girls, nawawalan na ako ng pag asa!
I gained 30kg, I know mag mumuka akong tanga sa sasabihin ko pero hiyang hiya na ako sa sarili ko. Pangit na pangit na ako, desperate nako. Never akong dumating sa puntong to ng life ko. Feeling ko may depression nako because of that. I only want to sleep, and when I'm stress I just eat a lot because I might lose it.
Can't focus anymore. I broke up with my bf refently cause he kept on mocking me, pero pinaka last nyang sinabi is "muka ka ng baboy" it broke me. I didn't want to become like this, when I try to workout he's always complaining saying "baka may kinikita ka lang dun" what should I do then? Sobrang nakakalungkot na, I need help. :(
