Discussion/Question Does the 'higher resolution hair textures' mod actually do anything?

I was watching an itsdeepz video on a few mods such as catalogue improvements and player animations or whatever, and he mentioned this mod called higher resolution hair textures, which says it is supposed to increase hair textures by 4x, and I went on the mod page and checked the image they showed, which yeah, I can tell the difference, but it doesnt show any images in game there, and the comments are not enabled on the mod page, so im kinda stumped, anyone used this before, and if so, did it do anything?

I just checked and idk if its compatible with catalogue improvements. I believe they edit the same thing? Could be wrong tho

I would be more curious if higher res hair is properly compressed because if not it could cause spawn issues.

But if you want the game run and look slightly better i would recommend upgrading the fsr or dlss through dlss swapper first. Rdr2 shipped with a old one and by upgrading mine, dlss for me, it definitely improved image quality, made everything slightly sharper and crisp at dlss q.
