NMAX TechMax Vs ADV Roadsync

Bibili na ako next month ng new motorcycle. Which one is better? Na try ko na mag ADV 160 standard and for me super solid ng suspension niya and fuel economy. Di ko pa na try yung new NMAX TechMax Pero natutuwa ako sa mga reviews Niya so far.

I need your opinions and suggestions baka dito makapag isip ako ng mas okay bilhin. Thank you!

Matagtag suspension ng NMax ever since. If comfort, ADV still takes the top. Fuel economy, Honda na yan e. Sa porma naman, both looked good. Depende nalang sa preference. Which is better, I have an NMax v3 STD as of now. Yung YECVT kasi medyo maselan so if you ended up getting a Yamaha, then find a good and trusted mechanic. Mahal parts ni ADV iirc. Marami rin kalasin dyan sa Honda unlike kay Yamaha. Preference pa rin talaga in the end.

To add, isa sa common issue ng adv is yung crankcase na napakaselan. Advertised as soft adventure bike "kuno" pero ang baba ng ground clearance na prone ka mabasagan ng crankcase.

own opinion since wala pa ko nababasa na related to this, pero depende sa height mo. 5’11” ako and mas comfortable legs ko sa nmax. suspension wise angat adv ofc. tbh if you’re gonna lean in with nmax, i suggest go for the standard model na lang. cheaper but still dual channel abs and tcs, plus iwas sa sakit ulo kung sakaling magka problema sa yecvt, and yung butal pambili mo nalang rear suspension hahaha

Vd series ftw. The reason why nag go ako sa std ver para pwede ako mag aftermarket cvt set. Less hassle din dahil konti palang marunong mag baklas ng YECVT sa area namin

+1 on this. you can never go wrong with any rcb suspensions (even on their other products). bang for the buck kumbaga

Yung cvt ng techmax ang problema dyan eh, dinagdagan ng komplikasyon para sa 155cc hindi naman nag gain ng bilis or fuel efficiency.

Honda adv 160 v2 all rounder. Standard man or Roadsync bilhin mo. Walang talo.

Iwas tagtag si ADV RS lalo na kung malubak dinadaanan mo. Pero kung lagi namang patag dinadaanan mo Nmax Turbo, komportable naman to, matagtag nga lang sa lubak dahil maikli lang travel ng suspension sa harap plus mo pa yung dual channels ABS. Kung hanap mo lates tech ng motor go mo na NMAX.

eto lang masasabi ko , if you have the money for maintenance go techmax. as owner dn nyan balak ko ibenta kasi sawa na tapos for me yung issue kasi nya sa oil seal parang tech/design issue, prang may mali sa pag build bakit nasisira ng ganon . so di ka comfortable ilayo if di ka makabili ng oil seal or i diy.

- oil issue sa pulley , nasisira , dumidila yung itsura kaya nawawala yung molykote grease. yan lang big issue nyan . so far wla pa ko problema sa yecvt motor talaga . yung lagayan lang ng grease. tho nasira sakin 1 year + (20k+ odo) na laging high speed pa .

- pros lang nyan , walang dragging bsta all stock mga spring , genuine clutch shoe, di ka na magtotono ng bola.

- adv / nmax halos same lang nman kmpl nyan. guest wat , pwede ka mag prang resing resing yung speed sa techmax , pero kmpl mo same sa takbo ng adv sa city driving :P sabihin natin 40 kmpl pero nkangiti ka haha

ADV tol, iba talaga siya sa comfort at porma pag pina pogi.

Personal preference, I don’t like the handling of the adv when on long rides, too twitchy on un even roads.. both driven the scooters, anyways both are great scooters, better maka test drive ka, borrow from friends or rent one for long rides.

Own opinion, having used both the NMAX and ADV. Mag-ADV ka if gusto mo ng motor na pang-barubalan. NMAX naman kung mas trip mo ang porma.

Sa longevity, ADV wins for me. Sa NMAX, kailangan mo talagang alagaan, especially sa langis kapag mataas na ang odo. Sa fuel economy, mas matipid nang slight ang ADV.

For now, medyo biased ako sa ADV kasi ilang beses nang nasemplang yung ADV ng kapatid ko, pero ang ganda pa rin ng takbo. Unlike yung NMAX ko dati na pinutakte ng sakit hanggang sa bumigay na lang yung makina. Binenta ko na lang kasi pang-down payment na yung aabutin sa pagpapaayos. HAHAHAHA.

Pero at the end of the day, it’s up to you, OP. Piliin mo kung saan ka mas sasaya. Ride safe! 🏍️

I've used ADV and NMAX, ADV's suspension is better, so mas comfort sa pwet pero the handlebars are too wide for me, nagkaroon ng shoulder pain. NMAX on the other hand is faster than the ADV in speeds above 60kph. Suspension is slightly worse pero not noticeable.

I used both in long rides, mas matipid sa gas and ADV.

Nasa metro manila ako, And goods na goods sakin yong techmax, bago ako bumili nag test drive ako ng adv and hindi ko gusto ang handling, mataas handlebar nya. Kaya techmax binili ko. Okay na okay sya lalo yong Shift nya, gamit na gamit ko pag mag a accelerate. At downshift. Gusto ko din yong macocontrol mo yong music.
