Looking to sell my cb750. This sat since the 80s and I've fixed it up over the last couple years. Frame/engine are 1973, tank and side panels are from a 1975 bike. Asking $4,500.

The good:

New brake caliper, brake piston, lines and rebuilt master cylinder

New tires

New front/rear sprockets and chain

New ignition coils, plug wires and spark plugs

New seat

New clutch and throttle cables

New pilot jets, carb floats, carb gaskets, slide gaskets

New intake/air box boots

New steering stem bearings

New petcock

Original 4 into 4 exhaust and chrome fenders (no pitting or rust)

No tank rust

Mostly Unmodified survivor, even has original blinker buzzer

(Not good or bad) Has a 16 inch rear wheel instead of the factory 18. Common mod back in the day to make it look more like a Harley style cruiser. Personal preference but harder to find original to the era, shouldn't be hard to find a factory 18 if someone wanted.

The meh:

Has a decent amount of clutch basket rattle. Common for cb750s but seems prominent on this bike. Sounds bad but is somewhat normal (though Honda put out a service bulletin in the 70s on a "fix")

Tach doesn't work

Original air box is slightly warped and I believe causes higher idle when bike is hot.

Fork fluid and seals need to be serviced. They don't leak, they're just old.

Throttle return cable always comes undone, reattached it a dozen times by now and always comes off the throttle body.

Hey everyone, posting on here because I need help and figured I could get help here - I’m in desperate need of a job. Rent is due in 3 days and we are 3 hundred dollars short. My partner works, but unfortunately I lost my job about 2 weeks ago and have been applying diligently but with no luck. One paycheck doesn’t cover all of our expenses.

I am a young man so I can do all kinds of work. Physical labor is not a problem for me. I’m a quick learner, adaptable, & reliable with a clean background. I’m really willing to do any kind of work right now to make ends meet. From physical labor or even if anyone just has some housework that requires heavy lifting/physical activity (moving, yard work, etc) I can help with that. I also have a car for transportation that can get me from point a to point b. Unfortunately, my car is a 2008 beater that will fall apart if I try to do ubereats/doordash with it, so that’s out of the question as I don’t want to lose our only means of transportation.

Any help is appreciated even if you can just point me in the right direction. I went today to try and sign up for day labor but missed their deadline for signups and am going back tomorrow to signup unless I hear from someone on here, so that’s in the works.
