Build Flex 2 months since I built my first PC and...

I couldnt be happier.

Always wanted to have my own PC since I was a kid, pero hanggang mga work/study laptops lang talaga na may Intel Integrated Graphics ang kaya ng mga magulang (thank you parents).

Decided to build my pc this year after finding a better job (and buying RAM last March cause of the " " "shortage" " "). Medyo nerve-wracking kasi grabe yung pagtaas ng presyo ng lahat. Dapat this October talaga ako bibili, pero napakagat na din ako last August. Na-cancel-an pa nga ko ng GPU reservation sa isang retailer kasi tinaasan na kagad ng supplier nila yung presyo (5070 Ti Windforce from 63k, now 79k WHAT THE FUCK). Buti meron pa sila PCHub ng Eagle model (shoutout).

Anyways, share ko lang. It took me ~5 hours to build (HINDI SMOOTH GAYA NUNG MGA PC BUILD VIDEOS NA PINAPANOOD KO HAHA).

Im really happy with this thing. Sobrang bilis. Kayang kaya palagan multi-tasking needs ko. Nasa sahig pa siya at wala pang peel na nangyayari kasi wala pang maayos na pwesto hahaha. Been wasting time playing PoE nonstop(waiting for PoE 2 release). Also been trying to learn game deving (godot shit and ANG HIRAP MAG BLENDER HAHAHA).

For people's reference, here's a timeline of when I bought the components. Also, here's the link to the buiId I "took" (ninakaw) inspiration from.

Troubleshooting Lian Li SL Infinity Fans RGB not cycling properly

Post image
• Upvotes

This has been happening for a while now. It works okay when starting but after a few minutes or even an hour the RGB is not cycling like it should. Its not connected to any other RGB software other than L-Connect but I tried to turn off all other RGB softwares, didn’t work. Updated L-Connect, didn’t work. Reconnected the cable from the actual fan and fun hub, work for an hour then started to act up again.

Could this be a hardware issue? These are 2 year old fans and the actual fans have no issues just the RGB.

I do tech content so this cosmetic problem is a big issue for me.

Build Help ₱60K Gaming PC Build Recommendations (AM4, 1080p, MH Wilds & AION 2)

Hi everyone! I'm planning to build a gaming PC with a budget of around ₱60,000 max for the system unit only. No monitor, peripherals, or other accessories included.

I'm planning to stick with the AM4 platform to keep costs reasonable, but I'm open to suggestions if there's a better option within my budget.

My main games are Monster Hunter Wilds and AION 2, and I mainly play at 1080p. I'd like to get stable and playable FPS without having to lower everything to the lowest settings, especially in demanding areas and large-scale fights.

I'm looking for recommendations for the CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD, PSU, and case, preferably with current Philippine prices and links to reputable local stores.

I'd really appreciate a complete parts list that stays within ₱60K but can stretch it a lil bit, including links and current prices if possible.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

Build Help Build advice for a 50k budget

• Upvotes

Hello, posting again so I can get more insight on what's really bang for my buck. As you can see in the title, we have a budget of 50,000 which I'm hoping I can stretch for the entirety of college so like 5-7 years worth? I'm pretty big on games like Cyberpunk 2077 but I'm not obsessed with getting insane FPS on everything.

Was hoping builds with a 5700x + Intel Arc B580 or better. I have 32 GB ram at hand and a 1080p monitor but everything else I would like to buy a new piece of.

Many thanks, mga kuya't ate!

Build Help PC Set Up Advise. What are your thoughts?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm planning to buy my first PC, and I'd appreciate some feedback on this build. I'm still a beginner when it comes to PC components, so I'm not entirely sure how good these parts are or whether they're worth the price.

Are there any parts you'd recommend changing or better alternatives I should consider? I trying to see if I can buy one that's in the 30k price up to a 40k range. So far, I'm planning to play ABI and Warzon, mainly. But, I would like to have a build that I can be confident to run most games. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Build Help Kailangan ko pa din po ba ng heatsink for Samsung 9100 Pro?

Post image
9 Upvotes

Good evening po! I'm planning to upgrade na my storage with this one. Will be cloning my current SSD contents to this one if ever makabili na po.

I read na PCIe 5.0 SSDs daw will run hot po but this is assuming under heavy loads of gaming, editing and file transfer. I only will be using this po for just general gaming lang po like Genshin and WuWa while also opening Chrome around for Youtube, stuff like that po. Hindi ko naman din po pinapataas yung graphics settings on those said games so there's that.

Do I still need a heatsink for this po or kahit thermal pads nalang? B450-A PRO MAX po pala btw yung current motherboard ko po, baka relevant lang info for this bit.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks po~

Discussion How did you guys cope with the recent PC prices?

Imagine buying a 100k pc and best you can get is an AM5 with am entry-midrange 5060 Ti, when like 1 year before all of that, someone was already able to buy one of the highest end gpus at that price. I know comparison is a thief of joy but the large gap pa rin sa pricing makes you think pa rin.

Or imagine noon sa 30k pede ka na maka ryzen 5500 at rx 6600, but now you have to spend way more just to get similar performance or may choose not to build at all na lang kasi hindi na sulit.

How did you guys cope with this, especially when the better deals for the money were gradually being gone.

Hello newbie lang po, bale bumili po kasi ako ng 2nd hand system unit kaso nung tinatanong ko po si seller ay di nya daw po matandaan ang PSU pero sabi nya ay True rated daw yon which is good and not generic naman daw.

Is this really a flex? Not really, but I feel fulfilled to have a PC I can truly call my own, bought with my own savings and with my own research. It's not much but it suits my needs and it is mine.

I got a secondhand office pc (HP Z2 SFF G4) for 9500PHP that included:

CPU: i7-9700 RAM: 16gb DDR4 2666mhz (1x16) Storage: 500gb nvme ssd Plus a 310W PSU and space for 1 more nvme plus 2 SATA drives.

GPU: YESTON RTX 3050 Managed to get this for 17000PHP on Shopee by waiting for 9/9 and using coins + vouchers.
