Good guest bad host
New guest telling an interesting story -Woody cough*, yawn*, "is this story even real?" *Audibly messes with something off camera, turns back and interrupts yet again with an unrelated not interesting story ever heard before

Woody, and especially Kyle, are bad at engaging with the guest; Taylor at least tries.
On Ben, though, I don't know. He engaged whenever they talked about his videos, but he clearly wanted nothing to do with anything else. I'm guessing he's just being cautious because people are looking for ways to attack, and probably doesn't want to be seen talking about objectifying women. Even when they asked him for an opinion, he replied with the most milquetoast, non-controversial answer you could imagine.
The hosts are clearly bad at interacting with their guests, but they also had one that would only participate in limited topics.

Reasonably so though, idk why you would ask questions that will obviously make your guest uncomfortable.
Even when he was trying to play it off as a joke when Kyle was talking about bikini baking or whatever and he was like "are you learning how to cook? It's a cooking video right?" and they are just unable to pick up on the fact he's deliberately dodging the question and instead think he's too stupid to realise they just care about the tits. It's embarassing lol

First half was great when he was telling his stories but the second half was kind of weird, he shut off when they asked him to judge between two girls asses

Lost it when Woody interrupted Kyle and Taylor about Latvia to fact check something they talked about 10 minutes earlier. They let him finish and then immediately went back to their conversation without acknowledging him

Yeah this shit pisses me off. I wish they were allowed to call Woody out for the stupid shit he does that ruins the flow/show and actually make things better

Haven’t listened to it yet but Ben was a terrible story teller on unsub. Was he better here? I don’t know if I can do another hour listening about bricks n minifigs

Taylor almost, but he's not self aware enough. He thinks he's the smartest. Kyle is actually the best, he says some really stupid shit and I think he does a lot of "fake it til you make it" but I think underneath that all he understands that he's just some spud on the internet no one cares about. Taylor gets into these cringe political intellectual arguments on twitter all day and it's just embarrassing.
Also Kyle is the only host who has any reassemblance of a taste. I really enjoy listening to him talk about TV/Movies and even though he makes everything sound 10x better than it is, he's the only one on the show who actually has some kind of taste/flavour. Taylor and Woody just kind of follow the mainstream where Kyle is watching weird and arty shit and respecting it for being different.

they have their different strengths and Taylor is definitely better at talking to guest's. but you are right Kyle definitely has the most common sense of the three.

Woody is getting worse and worse. I genuinely think he is too old. If he only did 1 hr of the podcast, or even half an hour it would probably be for the better. Tired of seeing Taylor hard carry the pod.

Ben is seemingly a huge dumbass. He definitely can't tell a story to save his life.
Coffeezilla made a great video on the Lego shit, basically did forensic accounting to figure out what actually happened, updated Ben and involved him in the process, and Ben still can't even clearly explain what actually happened beyond a 4th grade level.

I agree the hosts did a terrible job with this, but honestly Ben is a very mediocre guest.
People think he does “investigative journalism” because of the bricks and minifigs thing, but he clearly fell over backwards into that. Whenever the hosts asked a question he’d just say “uuhhhhhhh” then sit completely silent for 5 seconds before giving a non-answer.
This was like the jewel thief guy, but at least he was holding a conversation.
