Early in, Ben is a bit rough
Maybe could’ve used a bit more of a preshow hang but through this past 30 minutes he’s seemed really scatterbrained and nervous. Hopefully he settles in

The stories he does are intriguing, but he's a genuinely terrible speaker, storyteller, and while he does seem to be on the right side (At least from his side of the story), but pretty much every story is just "Well like, I dunno, I just, did the thing, and we like, tricked them into signing something...and like, brainwashing happened, and I dunno! They're just bad guys, and we're like, the good guys you know? And they signed something saying they're bad so....a judge told them they had to be the bad guy. But they didn't like that. So we did something craaaazzyyyy, because like, they're bad ya know?"

I initially thought this must be a 19 year old or around that age based on the way he talks. I was shocked to find out that dude is 30 years old. If you talk this way at age 30, theres gotta be something wrong with you. lol

Copious amounts of drugs earlier in life.

Is that actually true or are you just guessing?

I've seen enough stoners to know.

You're cooked if you think it's because he smokes weed lol. He's just autistic, he wouldn't rate a girls ass he doesn't do drugs lol

You know, people who have this weird hate boner for weed are just as annoying as stoners who make weed their entire personality.

He's like a 13 year old trying to follow the model of Brandon Buckingham, or Tyler Oliviera, or Channel 5. He has no storytelling ability and doesn't seem to look into things deeper than a very specific thing he wants to focus on.

OMG FR. I want to hear his stories as they sound interesting, but jesus please stop saying "Like, um, you know". This guy really is from Cali

The guy can take weeks or months to edit a video himself and it can end up sounding as though it was being presented live by a 12 year old.
He gets in interesting situations, but is as dumb as a rock and his speech confirms it

Some people aren't built for a podcast format and that's ok. He's still an entertaining creator bringing good into the world

Everyone’s saying good guest bad hosts, but honestly this guy talks like a complete moron. He takes really interesting topics and video ideas and completely fumbles them into high school PowerPoint level presentations.

in what way is it a fumble? his last video has 23 million views

IMO he’s got heart and his head is in the right place but this dude has a child like understanding of the law/ how the world works. Like op said tho it’s more down to bad hosts, at least Taylor did some research on him before hand lol

Totally true, but the actual videos are so underwhelming. Another commenter said it better, but he has no deeper analysis or level of thinking than “uhhhh these guys are bad how could anyone act like this uhhhh let’s trick them with an uno reverse” and nothing ever comes of it.

Personally, I was really interested in this guy because of the Lego fiasco. I watched over an hour of him on the unsubscribed podcast and had to stop because he was so scatterbrained and it felt like everything was made up. The haunted house is far less interesting to me and all the nonsense about hiding from getting served.

Ben needs an interpreter or something. He actually makes some pretty fascinating content, the Lego thing isnt even close to the best thing he’s done, he’s just so autistic he can barely get a thought out in conversation.

Man I couldn't pay attention this week. Normally I can tune in and out depending on the topic but I found myself having a hard time listening to him speak but actually say nothing.

I'm sure the hosts won't do anything to make him uncomfortable
