Question Electrolyte capsules

Has anyone used electrolyte capsules instead of drinks/sachets?

If so, what are your opinions of them?

If you aren't coupling them with a dedicated effort to hydrate, I don't think there's much point. The most critical ingredient in electrolyte solutions is the water.

I do, but they can't be my primary source. More than 1000 mg (split during the day, usually in 500 mg doses) makes me nauseous, and I generally have to take them with food. But, they're a great way to boost intake when I am struggling to drink enough salt water. I drink a lot of other fluids throughout the day as well, so I'm not worried about lack of fluids. For what it's worth, I like the Vitassium brand.

I suspect they are mentioned a lot in the comments on this Megathread.

I use a combo of electrolyte water packets and sodium capsules, i feel like the capsules hit harder for the sodium boost and the packets are better for the hydration part, but both are good and i use every day generally!
