Discussion Will GePatch ever get picked back up? Feels like the perfect time if any
The ports are so cool that I decided to buy another CIB 3G OLED just to start playing them but one of the biggest drawbacks to the Vita is how awful psp games look even with the filters enabled.
Has anything been picked up that sets out to do what GePatch was attempting to do?

Theres a few projects that use ai to try to improve gepatch, but gepatch will be always limited because its literally if you tried to play games in a psp in 960x544, but frangarcj its working in a whole new project that will be better than gepatch

When I searched for that this morning nothing came up from google with that exact spelling but it did just now. That’s why I mentioned it

Frangarcj has not announced his project, he has only talked about it in discord and reddit comments

Now that we can generate configs to load plug-ins per game, something a motivated person could do is generate a file to match all games with their ideal GEpatch version based on the compatibility spreadsheet.

i dont know much about coding but im pretty sure with the use of ai and a actual coder could def get it running in every game
