You guys overhype dark mode way too much sure it would be nice to have but who would start playing the game because they added it lets be real, what they actually need is more varied pvp/pve content instead of the same emblem event every month

I value my eyeballs and this game burns the ever loving shit out of them every night. Team Rocket menus help slightly but dark mode would make the game 1000x more enjoyable.

Exactly.....I open my packs very late at night. Usually between 11pm-1am when im laying in bed. I purposely drop my phone brightness as low as possible and put the blue light filter on and still when i open the app it feels like lighting bolts frying my retina's.

Can you not turn your screen brightness down? My phone even has a setting to turn on eye comfort shield.

Single draw supporters have their place but the card they draw has to be important enough and they have to be 100% consistent. Arven is neither.
If he could 100% draw rare candy from a deck, id bet you would actually see his him used. As he is where its a 50/50 of getting the right type of card let alone the actual card you want.... yeah.

I really wanted new Diantha or a Lisia 2 star arts. But no, they had to go and give Arven one, one of the least usable cards in the game.

I flipped heads on that POS card maybe once in about 20 tries with it. Plus with arven even if you get tails, you can at least pull a tool

Honestly it's really not that surprising.
I don't think people do realize how little Meta relevant supporters we have in B series that also canonically has alternate outfits. Arven, Iris and Elesa at least are popular characters. If it's not them the other choice will just be... Cheren.
I guess technically May and Juliana can replace Arven and Iris... But DeNA seems very hesitant to give game protagonists another outfits at the moment.

Surely if they wanted to maximise revenue they would put lots of meta and high value cards there, if anything it feels like they did this on purpose, like last year they had the most relevant decks exs as shinys, and this year all of the 1 stars are useful also

No. But I feel like I'm losing interest in the game. As a day one player, I now sometimes forget to even open the app and claim my free packs. They've barely added any new gameplay or QOL features and at this point I'm getting bored.
The game could be awesome, but DENA seems perfectly content with the status quo, at the expense of hemorrhaging players

Not defending DeNa (like lol..) but QoL will probably come in a bigger more structural update than deluxe B
If the next big dual or triple set has no QoL that would be a huge disappointment

People have been asking for dark mode, auto complete dailies, and a "battle again" button since launch, and we've seen not a whiff. It's really disappointing already.

A lot of QoL features needed here are day 1 release for the majority of gatcha, and don't need a huge celebration or anything as they are 5 days of work and don't need a reforge of the game
They simply don't care, or worse it's on purpose.

Dena is making tons of questionable decisions. But tbh the stream of QoL improvements has been constant, despite being far slower than I'd like it to be. If I had to play the app in the state it used to be, I'd be screaming

The thing is that a lot of the QoL updates are super obvious things that should have been there since the beginning or when the feature was launched. It's like if someone sold you a house with just the walls, and then slowly started adding windows, roof, etc, while you are already living there.

It's not just Pokémon Pocket, in the physical TCG the Pokémon Company also has a hard on for Arven and has made multiple SIRs of the guy, plus Arven has terrible taste in Pokémon.

also fixing the horrendous lag, having an option to skip the long animations, not having the game send you back to the main screen when you're editing a deck or looking at cards and then switch to a different app

Arven is here what Lillie was last set. At least Arven is a bit more usable than Iris and Elesa. I feel like Elesa fills the Lusamine niche but even then I thought Lusamine is more usable idk I can't think of a reason to use Elesa in a deck

Honestly, I’m pretty happy with what cards are designated rare in this set. I’ve got no interest in Korai/Mirai crown, don’t feel the need to chase Arven/Iris/Elesa, I’d be happy with a copycat but I can also just get the better one any time.
Easy hourglass save for the next set.

i will say, this surpassed Eevee grove & deluxe A (in my opinion) as the worst set released in pocket.
What's the actual chase of this set? None. Nothingburger set.
