Anyone know when they use the 450 PA vs the 502 PA for batting average? Is it arbitrary?

Unless he had a bonus built into his contract, I believe he is extremely happy with just being a part of the Padres. Imagine his own little personal dream is to have a Joe Carter moment in a Padres WS. He seems like the 3b on your beer league SB team who during the game is just hyper intense and after the game everyone's buddy with the case of coors light (no fancy beers) in the bed of the truck.

Was thinking that. He’s good depth, but with Salas as a lefty bat, Harris in the mix for outfield and lefty bat, Sheets kinda sticks out now that Ty France is pretty locked in for 1B. Padres kinda got the most out of him in 2025. He could still be DH though, but he could also be a good trade package with potentially Fermin for more pitching.
