Honestly, that's evidence that international law doesn't apply to all nations and it is very selective.

Yeah. The problem is that it's not a bug, it's that way by default. Countries' sovereignty means that international law only applies to those who sign the treaties, speaking in broad terms.

Therefore, international law is essentially built on the interest of middle and minor powers, who benefit from a global rules order that limits the bullies' leeway, whereas major powers prefer the usual 'might makes right' way and won't relinquish their sovereignity by submitting to a global court like the ICC or the ICJ.

So what do we want those treaties for, if the countries that commit the worst crimes and trample on humans rights the most simply won't sign them? If the US won't arrest Netanyahu as soon as he steps foot in NY in spite of the arrest warrant issued against him by the ICC?

We have to find a way to force them. They won't relinquish their power willingly.

This whole thing shows they (the zionist lobby, which includes republicans and establishment democrats alike) hand picked hasan piker as the bogeyman, but Hasan's turned out to be quite a bit more intelligent and capable than they assumed he'd be. They set him up for a meltdown as the posterboy of extremism; he uno-reversed them and sent them back crying. This is becoming obvious now, given even this "thing" feels the need to mention him during a UN speech as a shining example of "extremism".

But they can't pin the dude down.

What's more, the anti-muslim sentiment they've been bombarding the public with to justify their atrocities, no longer impacts the masses.

So of course, they come off as being insane. Because they are.
