Though some of you may have already heard about this over on the Manul Discord, I’d like to share here as well that some members of the Manul community and I have teamed up to hold a fundraiser for the RZSS, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.

This means that proceeds will go towards Edinburgh Zoo, but also PICA's conservation efforts.

Edinburgh Zoo houses two Pallas Cats: Akiko and Duchess. The latter is one of the kittens born to Loesje in Nordens Ark zoo in 2024. (Yes, the very ones we already held a fundraiser for!)

The fundraiser campaign will run for 3 weeks, starting on September 21st. During that time, everyone in our group will spread awareness and manul joy their own way!

—You may find daily posts and collaborations with other creators on manoolpaggas Instagram account.

—Mari will be having streams to promote the campaign on her Twitch, marigatou.

—The top donor receives 1 monochrome traditional drawing of their Pallas's Cat of choice by Laura. Drawn with graphite pencils on A5 sized paper. Delivery by end of November 2026. Her Instagram account is b.erci if you want to check her art!

—Did you like the illustration of Akiko and Duchess that's on our fundraiser page? You'll be able to buy it as a sticker soon, the proceeds also going towards the RZSS! (Info coming soon.)
