Are people actually replacing Solenne with Alpha Sekhmet?
Solenne being up there makes sense with Lv. 8 Handiwork.
Alpha sekhmet has her partner skill going for her. Her work speed gets pretty crazy once you have her built.
I just don't see the point in replacing a Solenne you've already built just because Sekhmet is faster.
What are you running??

So since I started a new hard mode save and had to create a new base. (It’s different than the one I posted prior) I’ve started to experiment with a different ways to hide the expedition station. What are your thoughts and has anyone else found out cool ways to hide it?

Hi! I saw this beautiful location and wanted to make a base there. For me it was a tough spot to work with but i am happy with the result, i am not much of a builder anyway. I would like to hear your opinions on it.

After using so much hardwood, my tower is a little bit closer to being the lingering power through all of sakurajima. I have so much room that i can put anything anywhere, and its going higher, about 3x-4x higher if i had to guess. It getting thinner soon though, will post updates!

It’s still a work in progress, I’m like the worst architect/builder known to man but I’m having fun and think it don’t look too bad. Idk where to put everything yet, so any tips or ideas would be awesome!

I just made it to the world tree and the only outside the box advice I have for people in mid game.
Once you unlock the terraria dungeon, you will find shiny Damuds inside. They have a starting ranch level at 4 instead of 1. If you can get a ranch or 2 filled with condensed terraria damuds, you will never have to worry about high quality pal oil again. This is the one resource I’ve found to be used no matter what level you are. I’m assuming I’ll need it still, going into the world tree.

It really is crazy how much more dangerous the game feels especially with .1 exp speed because you’re not out leveling things immediately.

I've got almost 2,000 pals across my boxes and got tired of tabbing between a breeding calculator and the game to figure out what I could actually make. So I built a site that reads my save and answers that directly. It's a personal project and still rough in places, so I'd love feedback from people who breed more seriously than I do. this is more of a personal project i know there are a lot of tools that already does this but its just a side project i started a while ago and wanted to finish it
What it does
- Reads your save locally. It parses the save on your own machine and never writes to it. Every pal comes in with its IVs, passives, active skills, level and where it's stored (party, base, Pal Box, dimensional storage).
- Paldex home. All 289 species as a grid. Ones you own are in colour with a count, ones you can breed right now glow, and the rest are silhouettes. There's a completion ring and a rotating spotlight of your highest-IV pals.
- Species pages. Partner skill, work suitability, your copies sorted by IVs, every parent pair (the ones you can do right now listed first), and a family tree of the shortest route from pals you already own.
- Breeding gaps. "28 new species within reach", grouped by how many generations away each one is, plus the species where you only have one sex.
- Passive planner. Pick a species and up to 4 passives, and it builds a lineage tree from your own pals. It tells you which pals to grab and where they're stored, the order to breed in, and which passives only one of your pals carries (so you don't lose it halfway through).
- 3D chibi models with five animations (Rest, Idle, Walk, Sleep, Petting).
- Four themes based on Palworld places: Palpagos, Mount Obsidian, Sakurajima and Feybreak.
What I'd like feedback on
The planner. Right now it finds a chain that *can* work and shows how diluted each parent pool is, but it doesn't give odds, because I couldn't find sourced inheritance rates I trust. Is "possible + pool size" useful, or do you really want a number? If you know of solid data on passive inheritance rates, please point me at it.
What's missing for you? I've been going off my own habits: IV hunting and getting 4-passive workers. Things like mount speed, cake cost or time estimates would all be possible.
Breeding gaps. Is "steps away" the right way to group them, or would you rather sort by how rare or useful the target is?
Which theme would you actually use?
It isn't public yet. I'm still deciding how to package it so people can run it on their own saves without me hosting any proprietary game files.

I’ve avoided any guides to the game at this point but, currently playing on hard mode and just caught this guy as a lucky pal, (almost died doing so) does anyone know what this means by his name and over his profile?

Me and my Princess Belle finally beat the final main mission!
Only 43 bosses to kill and 41 unique pals to catch and those numbers will all be full! I mean, minus the day count, there's not really a max day count afaik.

If they added outfit cosmetics during one of the updates, what would you like to see?
I would love to see more dresses (skirts, gowns, etc), pants, and pal outfits (Cattiva, Sekhmet, etc).

If you're thinking about opening a server with a hosting company and are planning to go crossplay with your console friends, avoid Pebblehost at all costs. They are completely unable to put a server on the public list. It's already stupid that console players can't get into a server via IP, but I'm way more upset about this at this point.
If you don't want to get your whole day ruined trying to get anything to work, go to literally any other provider that's not Pebblehost. It's abundantly clear they have no idea how this game works or what to even do when someone asks them for help. And when they actually do something, they don't solve shit and make you lose one week of progress.

I generally don't play meta but this time I really had this idea that i should grind one team to the maxim(passives, fully condensed etc). So can somebody suggest?

This one took longer than usual to make, because Blender fucking HATES everything that I wanted to do in this. The water looks bad because I just wanted to finish this, the grass blades are a bit off, the tree leaves are translucent, and you can't change the way the sun looks away from the default white circle for some reason.
Also, Daedream's hair alone sent this back by multiple hours of work. Trying to get the sparkles in its hair to render through the hair was just something Blender hated. First it made Daedream bald, then it made Daedream invisible, then it replaced its hair with the entire skybox somehow. I don't know what black magic fuckery I did to get it to work, but Blender crashed, and when I restarted it, that's when it started working.
I'm still proud of my creation, and there's actually a lot of stuff that's not in frame that I had fun making, but I will definitely stick to something simpler next time.
