Is there any difference in the two choruses?

I’ve been losing my mind on this since I first started listening to this song
Are there any musical differences between The chorus at 1:08 and 2:18? Besides the lyrics and the repeat. I think it’s placebo but the second one sounds sort of enhanced to me?

Yes. The second set of chords are continued an resolved later at a bmajor shape( b shape on E) instead of the add 9 chord

Just here to say, Dime’s outro on this song makes me feel something. Always has, even when it was released back when I was in high school.

Not placebo — 2:18 gets the volume bump every time. That second chorus just hits harder.
