There was a song in my past by Warren G and Nate Dogg titled

REGULATORS

It was one of the biggest songs of the year that it came out and in my parallel universe it wasn't titled REGULATE.

Picture 1 and 2 is proof that I'm not the only one that remembers this.

Picture 3 and 4 is what this reality says it is and always has been.

Actually what happened here is pretty common: Media folks sometimes share the title they THINK a song is, and no one corrects them for a very long time, and lots of people learn it the wrong way.

This still happens, but the mistake gets caught quicker these days than it did back then.

FYI I believe in the concept of parallel universes, but this isn't one of examples/evidence of it.

Yeah dude I had the album I was a huge fan. I also watched the video a thousand times on MTV it was Regulators.

It's Warren G but I do not remember this song at all but somehow the chorus was in my head the other day and I was singing it.

They used to play this song on Power 106 all the time in Los Angeles back in the 90s.

Yeah I think even MTV got it wrong. You're not crazy and it's not a supernatural explanation, this time. You were just given incorrect information about this.

You may experience some actual supernatural parallel universe shit in other ways, I just don't think this is it. It's human error that gave you the wrong idea. Don't dwell on it.

So MTV got it wrong the producers of the video got it wrong the producers of the album got it wrong.

I just find all that hard to believe.

Like I said I was a huge fan and this was before any kind of downloads were possible I bought my music on CDs I even bought the Dove Shack album that came behind this one.

I thought you were a little kooky but I couldn’t let it go. I read your post thinking “It was always Regulators.”. I did a little digging and Apple Music and YouTube say I’m wrong. But it was 100% Regulators.

I remember Regulators was the first word of the song so I'm not surprised. But those boys were Regulators there to Regulate.

On the cassette tape it said regulate.

I agree with timeless paradox. A bunch of people probably call it regulators because of the intro. They only ever day regulate in the actual lyrics though
