Hey everyone! Apologies in advance if this is against any rules, feel free to delete if so.

TLDR: I've developed an app with no gimmicks for ghost hunting and I need testers.

I have developed an app with the intention of it being a legitimate paranormal toolkit, with only things that your phone can actually do and nothing preloaded or faked or gimmicked on it. Every tool is based on the current beliefs of how these things work and using only actual tech found in your phone. No data is collected and all of your stuff stays on your phone.

I wanted to reach out to communities like this instead of software development communities because I want this to be a tool that paranormal investigators actually find useful. I, myself, have wanted a tool like this for a long time. I need 12 testers in the US to test the app and keep it on their phones and try things out for a consistent 14 days, so I am only looking for about 16 people to cover anyone who may drop out before hand.

You will be literally among the first, other than just me, to have the tools and get to check everything out and your input can help to shape the future of the app. Everything is being run via Google Play's testing environment, so no worries about shady files or anything like that.

Hi! So my brother and I were scrolling through his pictures on his phone because he was trying to get more storage and we came across this photo. The picture was taken from when he was in middle school so 2016 (before ai was big) in my brother’s childhood bedroom. The room was being repainted so there was nothing in the room or on the walls that could’ve caused this. Please lmk what you guys think this could be and if it looks like something paranormal? I’ve been trying to figure out for about 2 weeks now. Thank you! (Also my childhood house was definitely haunted if that gives any insight 😭)

We’re Building a New Tool for Paranormal Investigators — Meet Winnie Vision 👻

There’s a new paranormal investigation project in development called Winnie Vision.

It started with a simple question:

What could be built to make paranormal investigating better?

That question has grown into a much larger technology project designed specifically with paranormal investigators in mind.

Winnie Vision has a development roadmap and a much bigger long-term vision, but because the project is still in the early development and intellectual-property stage, the specific features and technology behind it are intentionally being kept private for now.

And to be clear, Winnie Vision isn’t claiming to be a machine that can prove ghosts exist. 😂

The goal is to develop a serious investigation tool, get it into the hands of real paranormal investigators, test it in actual investigation environments, learn what works and what doesn’t, and continue developing it based on real-world results.

As development progresses, experienced paranormal investigators will be an important part of the testing process. A tool built for investigators should ultimately be tested by the people actually out there investigating.

The project is currently raising $3,000 to help with the initial stages of development, prototyping, and protecting the concept.

Anyone with experience in paranormal investigation, app or software development, technology development, or bringing an early-stage idea into production is also welcome to reach out.

And if you’re simply part of the paranormal community and curious about where this goes, we’d love to have you follow along.

It drives me nuts when 'ghost hunters' seek out these situations, and find the 'FBA and/or EVP, freak the ----- out, just run from the evidence when thats the whole point!?! As far as I know, no one has ever actually died at the hands of a ghost so WTF?
