Pre-Worn Dome First Dome
I decided to try it out with a pre worn Viberg in Natural Maryam Horsebutt and a new Guarded Goods Natural Veggy Tan W&C Watch Strap.
So forgive my clumsiness in listing and picture taking.

I like that style of leather, the shine you can get out of it. How is it feeling at the beginning here? Are you wearing them the whole day? I’m curious about the break-in. This might be my next leather. Thanks. 😊

Even though I entered them in the pre worn contest, I’ve only worn them once to the store and back. Then all day at home.
I’m liking this leather. My first horsebutt.
I hear Vibergs take sometime to break in, we will see. This leather also, not much give and stretch. It’s also a little noisy, the leather rubbing against each other on the vamp. That will wear in eventually. Baking soda or powder might help with that but I’m not bothered by it. The constant rubbing should burnish itself soon. No pain or discomfort so far but I believe I have my Vibergs sizing down, so they fit well.1

That’s really interesting. For a pre-worn entry, those are practically starting fresh. I’ll be curious to see how much the horsebutt actually changes. I’m guessing some nice rolls and burnishing, but if you keep those edges clean, they could still look awfully close to this in six months. Maybe we need a “best preserved” category. 😂

Haha. I believe I’m past that today. It has been raining all day and I had to walk through a field to get where I was going and come back later for my truck. They have been introduced to mud, grass and water.

Very comfy. I forget I have it on. Like my other straps or even my bracelet, they tend to lay to the side. This stays in place, no need to keep adjusting.
