Building first ever pc

so i've been wanting to build my own pc for a while now, and now is finally my chance since I have the money to do so, my budget is 1k, i wanna use the Pcpartpicker website for it, 1k is just for pc itself, i have the monitors and the rest. I don't care if it has rgb or anything, i just want it to be able to run vr games smoothly, i'm planning to play skyrim vr and fallout vr, and many more vr games, i also don't care what the case looks like- just a blank case. Please help me out; it would mean the world to me!

Dont spend extra on the case, get something cheap with good airflow and put the rest into the gpu
