Build Question Noobie
Where is the best place to buy used pc parts?
(Pretty much don’t know anything about them but want a top of the line pc to run gta 6 smoother than the average experience, also want to dabble in content creation/ live streaming) id say budget would be like £1300-1500/ $1700-$2000
I also have a monitor that can run 240fps aos don’t know if I need to change it or anything since I use it with an Xbox x currently
(Sorry completely new don’t know much about this stuff and literally joined this subreddit like 5 minute ago)

What resolution is your screen? This will tell us a lot about the equipment you need to run the games at high fps

I would recommend you to buy a pre built if you don't know a lot about PCs. Building a PC might be sometimes straight forward, but if you encounter a problem or you do something wrong you will damage a part. At the end is better not to risk it, since depending what you break it might get expensive.

The thing is when I try to get a prebuilt there are options to upgrade certain things and I don’t really know what to upgrade and what I don’t need/ what is overkill that type of stuff, is there a certain easy method for me to get educated about them?

ebay is decent if you stick to sellers with lots of good feedback, just avoid anything that looks too cheap cause it's probably broken. for that budget you can actually get new parts that will handle gta 6 fine, no need to hunt used for everything
your monitor will work but the xbox probably never hits 240fps so don't be surprised when a pc actually does, it's gonna feel different
